Jet JW1044 4-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Reducer

This adapter works great for what it is designed for. It is only for changing 4 inch hose to 2 1/2 hose. Not designed to connect directly to a tool or shop vacuums. Usually the 2 1/2 inch hose will connect to the tool.

JET JW1316 3" Wire Hose Clamp - Each

Quite possibly the most advanced Wire Hose Clamp in the known world. I saw many things at the last HoseConClampDex Show in San Diego last year, but nothing like this. I cannot buy enough of these things. Match this with a reducer and you're good to go. Amazon does not offer gift wrapping, so be warned.

Jet JW1007 4-Inch Blastgate

Jet JW1007 4-Inch Blast Gate

These Woodstock International blast gates are identical to the ones I began using over 20 years ago. This same blast gate is sold by countless vendors; Jet is just one of many.

They are inexpensive and work acceptably, although they leak a little air when closed.

They have three parts, the two halves (glued together) with the movable gate in the middle. The two halves on all of my Woodstock gates eventually came unglued. Some lasted a couple of years, and one lasted at least a decade before separating. Jet JW1031 4-Inch x 10-Foot Black Dust Collection Hose

It works well for runs. It is not as good for connecting to tools. However, the clear heavy duty version of this is expensive and this will do the job if your willing to take the disconfort.
