Before I purchased this spare spool, I read several horror stories about how quickly it ran out. Fortunately I also read a review that flatly stated that if the directions are followed, its life was more than adequate. I got about 8 hours use out of my original spool...thats about 4 trips around my yard and sidewalks. Sure beats anything I've ever purchased at a big box store!

Worx 18-Volt Replacement Battery for WG150/WG250 #WA3152

I bought this battery as a backup when I bought the Worx edger and trimmer. When fully charged the battery works great for a little less than an hour, but it has to be allowed to cool down before you can put it in the charger. Not a great plan. A person almost needs 2 spares if the edging/trimming job is over 2 hours.

I was excited to receive my rechargeable trimmer. However, on a full charge it didn't last more than 15-20 minutes. It's ok for small jobs but if you have a lot of trimming you would be better off with a power cord version.

Used the Trimmer a couple times now.

As a Trimmer it worked fine, no problems. When I changed it to an edger, the string in the trimmer would not stay feed out. The string kept getting cut down. Its cheap. So, I replaced the string with a commerical grade string that is thicker and now it works OK. If you use a thicker string, you might need to drill a bigger hole in the reel string hole.

The instructions are not that great, but you should be able to figure out how to use it. I could not find anyone who sells this locally, so I purchase from Amazon.

The user instructions are completely useless. I thought I was purchasing the Worx rechargeable Trimmer. Boy, did I get a surprise and now there are minimal instructions for puting my purchase to use.
