MAGCRAFT® Magnets - 3/8" x 1/8" Rare Earth Disc, Package of 30

Here's what you do: get 30 plastic push-pins like folks use on cork-boards.
Light a candle, and hold the tip of a pin over the flame for 5 seconds (be careful, etc.), then pull the heated metal pin out of the plastic with pliers. With a few strokes across a file, make sure the bottom of the plastic (where the pin used to be) is flat.
Lay out your 30 magnets, keeping a generous distance between them as they will "jump" at each other and mess up your work. Mix up some 5-minute epoxy and put a very small amount on the plastic, then squish it down onto a magnet. Repeat until you have an armada of thumbtack magnets.
Once the glue is set, carefully carry the magnets to your fridge and try them out. The magnets really like to be in a stack ... Read More:

My husband and I saw this nifty setup,FastCap 3rd Hand Support System 57-to-144-Inches, on the home improvement program "Cool Tools" and indeed they are. We used two of them them to support heavy pieces of ceiling drywall when we were doing a recent kitchen remodel.We both have shoulder problems and these allowed us to put in the drywall screws without either one of us standing there trying to hold up the sheet of drywall at the same time. We also used them to hold up the ends of plastic sheeting when it came time to block of the room for sanding. We may use them again when we install the upper cabinets. Great tool, glad we bought them!

Shoe Goo works great. The bottom of my tennis shoe was peeling. I applied some shoe goo and glued the sole back on and let it dry 24 hours. Next day the tennis shoe was good. Shoe Goo really works! For the size, I should buy a smaller Shoe Goo.

OnGuard Akita 5041 Bicycle Combination Cable Lock

I used this lock to lock my wheels to bike racks, and I used a u-lock on the frame. After about a month at college the cable was cut. Nothing was stolen thanks to the $10 U-lock I had used to attach the frame to the rack. The cable was long enough for me to lock both wheels to just about anything.

My Mission Coat Tree was just delivered by the UPS Man, and (despite the printed assembly instructions calling for a phillips screwdriver - why? There are no screws involved!) I assembled it entirely by hand in about five minutes, including time for unpacking the components and putting the dismantled packaging in my recyle bin... This is a STURDY, clearly FUNCTIONAL and hugely APPEALING item of furniture... And it got to my door FAST, in just about THREE DAYS from purchase date... What's MORE, after Amazon had overcharged me on S&H by about 80¢ and I complained, they refunded my ENTIRE S&H Fee of over $9.00! All I can say is, WOW! Not much to review about a box of nails but...

Save your money on the Porta Nail nailset. I use standard round nail set which works fine. I'm now into my 10th box of nails so it isn't beginner's luck.

I live near Lowe's, which sells them for $23, so even with shipping and the crummy packaging they are much cheaper through Amazon as long as I can wait.
