After my last review, I found a package by my doorstep. It was a replacement LED night light, to replace the one that had failed in my previous order. Completely out of the blue! Really, at the price, I considered this to be basically a throw-away item. But Maxxima still sent me a replacement. That was just awesome. Next time I'm looking for any kind of light, I'm going to see what Maxxima has first.

Turtle Accent Night Light with Amber Glass

When beginning a search for a cute (animal) nightlight for my newborns room, I had no idea it was going to be such a challenge. I was not interested in a nighlight that was wall hanging, which seems to be most of what is out there. Thank goodness I found this turtle light. It provides just enough golden light to see, but doesn't overwhelm the room. This was a great find, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Zircon 64003 Water Detector with Leak Alert

I purchased two of these after suffering a disastrous water pipe leak in a finished, carpeted and furnished basement, a leak that went undetected for about 24 hours. The cases of my Zircon detectors look exactly like this one, but they have a red-on-white label rather than the white-on-blue shown in the Amazon listing. I'm not sure whether this indicates a newer version or what. That said, the ones I have work perfectly. Wet a finger and hold it against the two exposed metal strips, and the detector quickly begins sounding the alarm--in Morse Code!

That's right, these (at least the red-on-white labeled ones) sound out the international distress signal: three short beeps, three long beeps, and three short beeps again, Morse code ... Read More:
