I just got this light and could not wait to test it against another very popular rechargeable flashlight I own that sounds like NAG light. The Stinger is less than half its size, weight and the Stinger is much brighter and gives a more directed beam. I compared them the other night in the rain behind my house in the woods and it is now my favorite light.

I have bought this device to monitor my home here in Alaska when we're gone. What better does this device get tested then here in the Last Frontier? I can tell you it gets the job done and does everything a basic freeze alarm needs to do. It monitors my home power and temperature. It has a connection for a flood sensor you can probably add later (not included). I like the clear instructions and easy setup of the device. There is a video setup available on their website. I have programmed 3 phone numbers in the device that will first call me and after that two other family members if I do not answer. I just got this last night. I'm sorry to say like the reviewer below there is infact a lead warning label on this product. I feel bad for the amazon employees that have to handle this product and put in the box for me. Did they get to wash their hands right after? The labels are big and after setting it down I don't really want to touch it again, I will be ordering a new cord that might be a little more.

Only thing it has good is a see through ends on the cords and the one opposite the wall plug lights up, and you can actually see the ground connectors are plugged in. Sadly the risk of contamination is not worth it, if you have children especially or expect to use and handle this alot, as a matter of fact owning this at all is bad for your health. ... Read More:

This is a good lamp. I haven't had any problems with mine yet. I bought this one as a replacement for my last one, which I ruined by shaking. DON'T SHAKE IT. That's true for pretty much every motion lamp made. The colors are pretty, the movement is hypnotizing. Just don't forget to turn it off, because it's not made to run more than eight consecutive hours.

I really like this light, I have bought three. It works very well, holding an 8 hr. charge, keeping OUR FLAG illuminated all thru the night.
Too bad this product has been discontinued instead of developed further!
