Product works well, arrived on time, and is bright enough for reading and lighting the room. My wife wanted me to replace an older quartz tourchiere that was very hot. She was concerned about overheating and the possibility of fire. The flourescent lamp runs very cool, and puts out nearly an equivalent amount of light. Not to mention uses less electricity.

The nature of my job includes doing security sweeps of commercial aircraft in the morning hours and holding a flashlight versus the handsfree one makes the job a smoother one. The LED lights give off enough light to complete our task in a more efficient manner. Hats off to the inventor for this remarkable tool.

Useful for different tasks: reading, repair and assembly. These are very comfortable, light, stong and adjustable. The visor has enough power of magnification for my bad eyes.

Can't beat the price, but the DC voltage seems to be reading half of what it should. Other functions work fine and for the price it's not worth trying to return.

I had to box all these up and send them back. I found that they produced a single beep on the average of every 4 - 6 hours which became very irritating especially in the kitchen since they were all concentrated in this area which is also near the laundry. I even put them on a sheet of plastic and wax paper as well, thinking that maybe the concrete, wood or tile they were resting on was conducting enough electricity to cause them to do this. It wasn't. Maybe mine is a bad batch or maybe the single small beep 4 times a day or more from each one may not bother anyone else. Not trying to tell you to steer away, just be sensitive on this so you can return them before the window closes if it is an issue with yours as well.

Excellent product, push the remote transmitter button and the surge protector switches off. Push it again and the surge protecter turns on. Will definitely save electricity by cutting power to devices that are always on standby.

Only problem with the unit I received was that initially the remote switch would not turn the surge protector on. I thought that I might have to return it, until I checked the frequency settings for the remote switch and the surge protector. Switched them to match and the unit worked like a charm. It seems that the factory set settings did not match.

I'm not a neat-freak, but I hate it when the profusion of electronics devices I own result in an unsightly rat's nest of cables/wires/cords. I've been remodeling my home office, and have wanted to hide as many of the cables/wires/cords as I can. I also want those cables/wires/cords which are exposed to view to be as unobtrusive as possible. I've owned flatplug extension cords like this in the past, and have always loved the concept. In this case, I have a grounded cord (necessary because of the sensitive electronics plugged into it) that drops straight down to the floor, which I can then tuck under carpet where it meets the baseboard. Both my spouse and I are happy with the Belkin Travel Surge Protector. It's compact. The swivel plug does what it's supposed to: stay out of way when packed. We'd buy another and would recommend it.
