These batteries are the fastest charging cordless tool batteries I've ever used and they will put in a full day's work and then some before you have to recharge them. The 3.0 Amp Hour batteries take about 35-40 minutes to charge (there are 1.8Ah batteries for the drills that take less than 20 minutes!) if completely depleted and they're ready to take up again right where they left off! As some other reviews have mentioned, the only down side to them is there's very little warning when they do run out of juice, but seen from another point of view, they do keep running strong up to the last minute. Received in three days. Well packed, great price, easy assembly, solid stand. As others have mentioned, the written instructions are poor but looking at the graphics clears any issues. I agree with the review that the foot peddle should be placed on the outside. You just can't reach it with your foot if you have the shelf installed. Amazon, you came through again.

Also ordered the extension tables for the 735. great price and it makes the planer complete.

Love the free shipping. It frequently is the deciding factor.

I have had two and both triggers have gone out. They will not work after very few uses. There is a problem with this product.

I wanted to learn engraving so I bought this little inexpensive tool. The first thing I ever did turned out really well. I engraved a hummingbird and a flower on a glass. Since then I have engraved names on stainless covered books and frames. A little loud but works well for me.

I was very impressed at how well made this item is. When you factor in the low price (I paid $11.95), it becomes a remarkable bargain. Although the product description shows only SAE and metric modes, the unit I received can also read out fractional inches (down to 1/128th)--a very nice bonus. Highly recommended!

This is a great little unit... I actually own 4 of them. I use them to maintain the batteries on my two motorcycles, the lawn tractor and my Porsche over the winter. They are connect and forget, which is great. Since they employ "float charging" there's no danger of overcharging a battery which can happen if you leave a regular battery charger connected too long. I wouldn't recommend one of these to bring a fully discharged battery back to life since the charging output is so low, I'd use a regular battery charger instead. But these units are great for their designed purpose and that is to "maintain" a battery during periods of inactivity. I've had no problems with any of my 4 units. I purchased this a few weeks ago (from Amazon) with the wide jaws because of the recommendations here. I agree buy the jaw set, in fact I think they should just be sold as one unit. I am very pleased and did not have any problems using the tool. It sure beats using a board and clamps.
The distance from the edge of my saw's baseplate to the blade is not a nice even number. I made a little story stick (which I tend to misplace between projects) for this as I never remember the setting and would have to re-measure. I know there are many ways to do this but I like to do as few adjustments and measurements as possible. I did not buy the saw guide but was curious if it would eliminate or simplify the alignment step.

It came in about a week (from CPO in Georgia). It looks nearly new, not used. It started on the third pull. It blew leaves, as advertised.

It is not the most powerful, and neither is it the lightest weight unit. However, at $90 delivered, it is a good compromise for my small yard with lots of oaks. We had wind and rain in the week I waited for it to arrive, so the leaves were thick and wet. The unit is adequate for my needs.

I put a shoulder strap on it from a duffle bag. This helped me to use it for two hours straight. My hands got a little numb/tingly, but that is to be expected from any two-cycle engine you carry around. Maybe wearing gloves would help a little.

I have broken most of the drill bits. Often the first time the drill bit was used. The quik-lok will not release one of the driver bits making it useless.

My hobby for the past eight years is woodworking. I try to buy the best tools I can afford so I do not have to replace then a year later. I have a number of other Milwaukee products and have been pleased with the performance and quality. However this bit set is junk.
