The Fein Multimaster sanding/scraping/cutting tool is one of the most flexible tools out there. I got my first one in the 80's, it was heavily used in my boat repairing business and still lasted 20+ years. I now have another one doing my jobs. The company doesn't rest on a good thing, they have kept improving an already outstanding product. We couldn't have easily done many of our jobs without it.

Black and Decker PS1MVC 8.4-Volt to 14.4-Volt 1 Hour Pod Style Battery Charger

I just recently purchased the B&D 1 hour pod style charger. I have the 14.4 V batteries and they are charged in about an hour. This is especially nice when doing long projects that require extensive battery use. I had been using the cheap one that came with my set which would take hours to recharge my batteries. This one is finished in about an hour. Good buy for the money I would say. No Cons yet at this point.

If you need a good cordless, look no further. This is the best there is. Quit wasting any more time reading reviews, and trying to find something better, or as good, for cheaper. You'll never regret this purchase, believe me.

KINTREX IRT0421 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer with Laser

This is one very handy tool at a nice price.

First, the display is backlit and very readable inside, but just a bit faint outside in bright daylight. It fits the palm of the hand better than other devices belonging to friends I've tried, and provides sturdy, dependable, and accurate information indoors.

I bought mine to check for temperature leaks for recaulking and insulating my house, but I am astounded to how useful it is indoors. First, in the kitchen, check that oven temperature or the outside of the loaf of bread you are baking. I bought mine for that, although remember what other writers have said about how large an area you may be measuring relative to the laser pointer.

Xantrex Technologies 851-0400 XPower Plus 400-Watt Inverter

Several of the Xantrex inverters including this one have much looser frequency specs compared to the last generation of inverters which were typically 60 Hz +/- 0.01%. Many of the current crop of these inverters have 60 +/-4 Hz which is 60 Hz +/- 7%. To be fair, I've noticed a number of inverters made by other companies also have relaxed this spec. I measured the output frequency of several models and found their outputs to range from 58 Hz to 64 Hz. I didn't test to see if the frequency changed with temperature, input voltage, load, or other other factors. Dremel 220-01 Rotary Tool Work Station

I bought this drill press to drill holes in 20 gauge nickel and sterling silver jewelry pieces. It has exceeded my expectations. If you follow the directions and let the tool do the work, you will be very pleasantly surprised that you can add such a handy device to your workbench for such low cost. My husband, an engineer, was pretty surprised at how good it is, too. However, I had to ask for his help with assembling it, because the assembly directions were not the greatest, and I'd never done anything like this before. He had no problem with it, though. The metals department where I've taken classes has a Gesswein setup with footpedals and a Foredom tool for a drillpress, and it is loud, hard to control, vibrates like crazy, and is kind of scary ... Jet JW1044 4-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Reducer

This adapter works great for what it is designed for. It is only for changing 4 inch hose to 2 1/2 hose. Not designed to connect directly to a tool or shop vacuums. Usually the 2 1/2 inch hose will connect to the tool.
