This product represents great value for money and is etremely easy to install.
The manufacturer recommends changing every 6 months, but I'm sure it's 'water quality' dependent as my filters last at least 12 months (Fort Collins, CO has great water quality).

My dad mentioned that there was an apparatus for a leaf blower to clean gutters. We went on a search to the "box stores" (Home Depot, Menard, etc.) to find this item, but we were told they did not carry this. So, I searched online and found it on Amazon.com. My husband loves it! He attached it to our Weed Eater Barracuda leaf blower and now he can easily clean the gutters (on our single-story ranch style house) standing on the ground rather than balancing precariously on a ladder. This item saves time and is much safer! We have a lot of leaves, seeds, etc in our gutters (5 mature trees on less than a 1/4 acre lot). So, we are very happy that this item was available and works so well.

The smart strip is larger than I expected, but that is understandable with all the technology that is contained in this strip. It was very easy to setup and I just used another powerstrip plugged into one of the controlled outlets instead of buying the version of the smart strip that has more outlets. I wasn't able to get it to work with my AT&T U-Verse DVR, but just set it up to use my TV as the controller instead. I think I am going to buy these as Christmas gifts for family this year.

This is the best value in closet organizers that I have seen. Installs very fast and easily if you have the right tools (a stud-finder helps) and flexibility of configurations is amazing. The finish on the metal pieces is attractive and tough and the gleaming silver color in a white closet is a sophisticated contrast. I highly reco the Deluxe Kit over the standard; I bought both and the extra pieces and configurations possible with the Deluxe are more than worth it. All of my kids now have these in their closets and all three of them have commented on how much easier it is to keep their rooms clean and their closets tidy. Worth the money and effort to install them!

Mr Heater F274800 Portable "Big Buddy" Heater

This is the 2nd Mr. Heater Big Buddy we have bought. We loved our first one so much we wanted to get another. My wife stays a little warmer than I do so I fire up my Big Buddy when I am cold. It is able to heat the whole room. I rarely turn it above low. These heaters are the very best thing to have for everyday use and especially when the power goes out!! I bought a hose so I can use it with my 20lb. tank in case I need to burn it for a long time if the power stays off for a while. Here, we lost power for 4 days at one time. These are a life saver. Don't take my word for it,,,,, try one for yourself.

I've used one of these for three years now with excellent results for hiking boots, Nordic ski boots, athletic shoes and rubber/leather pacs. Although the heat level is very modest - and therefore protects your footwear and keeps the electric bill low - it will thoroughly dry all but the very soggiest boots in a few hours. Also, it seems to eliminate any foul odors (who me?) in athletic or street shoes.

Here's a hot tip: put your already-dry winter boots on this Peet dryer before venturing out on a frigid morning and your feet will be truly toasty!

I've seen much fancier boot dryers and I see even Peet now makes a fancier version. And this product seems a bit pricy for something so simple that has no moving parts. But I'm ... Read More:
