Eco-heater whole room heater

I was really skeptical of this prodcut, but intrigued enough to purchase, and I'm quite pleased! My daughter's room is right above the garage, and gets quite cold, even though it's "properly" heated and insulated. We installed the eco-heater 2 weeks ago, and it's working great. It's essentially a ceramic tile with a heating element in it somehow, and it works great in her small room (about 10x10). I painted it, so it really looks like part of her wall, which is a big plus for me.

One suggestion that was mentioned by another reviewer is to use a thermostat. We're using one, and it's keeping the room a perfect 72 through the night.

Title says it all really. I purchased 4 of these for different rooms. 1 died in like 2 weeks. the others limped along for a few more months with the fans intermittently working.

I just purchased this heater and after the first day of use I am very satisfied. There was a smell at the initial start up which others have noted but it was insignificant after about 3 hours of use. The smell results from a chemical which they use to prevent the metal from rusting during shipping. At high heat this chemical burns off and there is an unpleasent odor that comes off. After around 2-3 hours most of the chemical and smell are gone. After that this heater warms up a room pretty quick even on the first setting. My room is fairly small so I am not sure if the first setting could warm up a much larger room. Using the third setting burns approximately 1500W compared to 700W at the first setting so there is a massive energy consumption difference. ... Read More:

Peltor H10A Professional Noise Canceling Earmuff

The (passive) noise reduction works very well. [Noise Canceling usually means an electronic system, which this is NOT.] Wearing these, I can barely hear the lawn mower or circular saw; it is useful to be able to hear them just enough to know they are working correctly. With earbuds put on first, I can listen to my mp3 player/radio at normal volumes with full clarity.

They are a bit snug, as you would want to ensure good noise reduction; I have a fairly large head. I loosened them a bit by flexing the wires gently a few times. Too tight is better than too loose, because it's easier to loosen them.

Purchased this unit based on both professional reviews and consumer reviews here on Amazon (thanks to all consumers for their reviews - it's very, very helpful!)

Received in five days with the free shipping (yea!), and installed it today. Easy to install, wiring directions were clear, and programming instructions were easy to follow.

Really like the easy-to-read, large digital face, and the blue backlighting.

Am a 61-year old female do-it-yourselfer, just FYI.

Very cheap metal, high strength steel would have been better, first time I used it the extractor side broke because it is made of cheap metal!

Rockwell RK9000 Jawhorse

This is a well thought out and solidly built device. It is about 43 lbs. but has a built in roller for moving it around. After reading the small manual it is easy to operate. I wish they had enclosed more examples of uses and applications but the users will have no problem find uses for this thing. Only time will tell about durability but it appears tuff. I would tell any person who works with their hands to by one.

Does what it's supposed to. I only drink Brita Filter water in my apartment because the water from the faucet is usually brown with minerals and tastes horrible. I got this 10 pack for $33 shipped. Best price ever. Supermarket sells these things for $6 or $7. I got mine for $3.30 each.

I work at a lumber yard/hardware store. We sold these as a special for Ace Hardware a few months ago. First off, they are made in China. They also have almost no weight to them because everything is all plastic. Do not buy this tool. They don't even have a durable feel when you hold them.
