Wild Planet Hyper Dash

I see there is now a "double" hyperdash and I think this may have made a difference for us. My kids just didn't get into it. Also, it stopped working after just a few uses. Still, I love the idea and think my kids may just be too young for it -- they are 6 and 3.

Bakugan Starter Pack (styles and colors vary)

I haven't given these to my Grandson yet, but he has others. These are for Christmas. He Loves playing with them, and so far, they have held up very well.
He loves trading them, and plays with them every day. He is eight years old. He goes on-line to see all of the different kinds available, and likes to show all of his to everybody!

DreamWorks seems to have struck gold with this nice family friendly film. Top-notch animation, a humorous performance that isn't too silly and a great story about finding the Dragon Master from within shine through on the disc-based version of this film (at least it shines very nicely on the Blu-ray disc).

As some have noted the Blu-ray package unfortunately doesn't include all of the material of the DVD package, but it doesn't mean those with Blu-ray players shouldn't grab this excellent disc. The animation comes through extremely well and the level of detail in this Blu-ray rivals that of a disc I would previously have called reference quality (the Disney movie about a rat named Remy ;-)).

Bakugan Battle Pack (Styles and Colors May Vary)

I looked all over our city for this and it is sold out everywhere but I was in Sams Club and they have a bonus pack for $26 which has the travel mat included. Just alittle cheaper than some of the internet pricing I've seen. Toys get popular, prices double. Its shameful.

Bakugan Battle Arena

Do you really need a Bakugan Battle Arena? Not necessarily. You can play on a coffee table with books bordering the four sides to prevent the figures from rolling off. Is it more fun to play when you have one? Yes. The bumpers are solid and the surface is uniform.

This is a 9 piece table that is easy to assemble 2 bumpers on each side that snap in, while the table folds out. At the far corners are the openings to shoot your Bakugan figures. The bumpers keep the marbles in play, instead of rolling off of the table to be devoured by an overzealous pet (such as my dog, for example).

Crayola Color Explosion Glow Board

The kids had fun with this but it is really hard to clean off. Plus the light-up effect only works in a really blacked-out room so they should have made the buttons light up. My daughter complained about that. Overall, it's a so-so toy compared to pencil and paper. Still, a neat effect.

This game is great! It's a game that can be played with 4 people and different colors. Even though it might be easy to lose some pieces it is still fun.You will find it hard to put the right pieces at the correct time.

Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Light Saber

Our 5 year old grandson absolutely loved this gift. We grandparents were the favorites at his recent birthday party.....this gift was the one all the other children were attracted to first! It was a bit too advanced for him to completely assemble by himself at first, but with the help from a boy slightly older, he was a happy camper for days afterwards!

I know there may be plenty of critical reviews here, but I can't resist putting my thoughts in.
I'm an avid fan of the Narnia books, I've read Prince Caspian 4 or 5 times, and I was so excited when this movie came out. About halfway into the movie however, I realized to my dismay and anger that the movie was far off course from the book itself. It had non-stop battles, there was very little conversation, the storm of the castle was completly off track and never happened. The violence was very upsetting, and I acutally thought a few of my young cousins might like this movie, but after I saw the constant war and unnessessary bloodshed, I knew my cousins could never stomach this brutality.
