The first action figure I picked up back in the 1980s was a Kenner Starting Lineup figure of Michael Cooper of the Los Angeles Lakers (we both went to the University of New Mexico--Go Lobos!). But except for the fact it had Cooper's number on the back of his little jersey you could not tell from looking at the head that it was Cooper and not Magic Johnson or James Worthy. It could have the head from any other NBA figure they were putting out. I did not purchase any other Kenner figures because (a) nobody else went to one of my alma maters and (b) the figures did not look like the people they were supposed to be.
