It's alright as far as ViewMaster picture reels go. Just pictures from the movie, "Finding Nemo" but my kids loved it so I got them the reels also. The pictures are vividly clear - almost 3D, and very colorful. The reel itself is still made out of cardboard (just like when I was a kid!) but are pretty durable.

If you have child the colours are very attractive, for children that do not read you have to be with them as they see the pictures and explain them in more detail. The reel has classic cartons form the clubhouse.

I was disappointed by the binoculars in this device. You have to have the device orientated just right to see out of one lens. Basically there is just a little dot of light in the binoculars, and if you don't have your pupil lined up just right, the image will go completely black.

Also, if your child has to wear glasses, don't expect them to see the Viewmaster images without them on. I found it surprising that I couldn't look into the device and see the pictures with my glasses off. Sure I'm near-sighted, but the binoculars can adjust for this, why shouldn't the Viewmaster side? Looking at the images with glasses on doesn't quite work as well.

In all, it's a nice toy. My three-year old likes to go around the house ... Read More:
