We got this doll for my daughters 4th birthday. She begged and begged for her. The doll has held up wonderful! We have had her for almost 2 years now. She still plays with her. We only used water not the juice packets; then dried the diapers and reused them until they didn't work at all even with tape. I liked the fact her hair was plastic because I wouldn't have to brush the rats out! We have had her in the tub, playing with friends and outside. She washes easily and works well. No problems with any mold. She also fits doll dresses. We did purchase on a clearance sale a baby alive dress, diaper and pacifier kit. Would recommand this doll over and over. A great surprise and WONDERFUL doll!

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday after she saw a commercial and just had to have it. I read other reviews on this doll and thought "please dont leat us have the problems that others have had". So far so good. We have had her since April '08. She has been in the tube, in the pool,everywhere and we have had no problems. She starts to swim within a few seconds of being in the water and stop her swimming motion a few seconds after pulling her out and holding her in a straight up postion so the water can drain faster. I guess we were lucky enough to get a good one.shes alot of fun. Even my youngest son likes to play with her.

My [...] daughter bought this doll with birthday money she had been saving after playing with her friend's doll. Both [...] girls love their dolls and would recommend it for other "big" girls that still love playing Mommy. You will want extra diapers (maybe even making cloth ones since the pee is really only water). The diapers provided lose their sticky after a few changes. Just a reminder to skip store bought, disposable diapers and help the environment (there are enough diapers in landfills already).

As a grandmother, I see my toddler grandchildren a little bewildered about the newborn sibling in their families. "Baby Alive" is a way to give toddlers their "own baby" to care for. It is durable, adorable, and fascinating for toddlers to feed the baby its bottle and watch it go to sleep.

I recently bought this for my two year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves this baby doll. It is perfect for a young child. She is so cute putting the baby to bed when it closes its eyes and is quick to remind us to "sshhh - be quiet - baby's sleeping"...in a hushed voice.

I bought this doll for my 4 1/2 year old daughter 2 weeks ago. She'd earned a treat, and loves baby dolls, so when I saw this on the store shelves, I grabbed it.

This doll has a sweet face, with vivid eyes, and doesn't look contrived or anime-inspired, like a lot of dolls available. It's blessedly free of sound chips, motion sensors, batteries, and the worry that at some point, you're going to have to tell your child her beloved doll has suffered severe cardiac arrest from battery corrosion and has to be thrown out.

Best of all, it's solidly constructed and due to the water inside, fairly heavy feeling. The interior is composed of a special liner which inhibits or prevents mold growth, and I'm pretty sure it's pthalate ... Read More:

This is a great doll for any girl under 4 years old. My niece is 2 and has not put it down since I gave it to her for her first birthday. It goes every where with her. I just bought another one for my new granddaughter for Xmas. She will be 6 mos. old at Xmas.

I just received the doll. She looks just like my 14 month old daughter Ashley (we are asian). I can't wait to give it to Ashley for Christmas. I would have gave it 5 stars if the doll's eyes can close and open as described. Also, she has no eyebrows. Overall, I am happy to find this nice asian doll for my daughter.
