Basically this set was a compilation of various learning activities my son already had.
-Flash cards: upper- and lower-case, separately
-Picture cards: pictures of different things starting with the same letter, like bat, bell, bird, etc. I was annoyed that many of the cards in our set were doubles.
-Stickers
-A storybook with laminated pages (a small one which is similar to one of those paper books you get in Chick-fil-A kids' meals)
-Workbooks - nice ones
-CDs
-Progress posters at different levels
I think this system is great - it's everything you need to get started. I feel though that if you have the "guts" of this system already, like other preschool curriculum books/workbooks, age-appropriate ...
