Got this for my little sister. She was going through a toy laptop phase at the time because I had just gotten a new laptop for college and she wanted one too. She played with it obsessively for weeks. The only problem we encountered was the back light sometimes wouldn't come on but turned out to be easily fixable.

I purchased this computer for my 5 year old grandson. He already had the Disney computer, which I thought was excellent for 3 and Up. This computer offers alot more activities and math programs. It actually looks like a laptop computer with mouse. In my opinion, it is the bridge between a toy and the real thing. Very satisfied. It is also very durable.

I found this video to be extremely helpful when my adopted son was diagnosed as being speech delayed at 9 months. He immediately was able to connect the words on the video with the signs that were being taught. More important, it assisted him in learning new words and how to speak them properly. I knew the sign language lessons with him were working when he was signing "baby" to me when he wanted his teddy bear who was immediately named "baby bear" forever. He used his new words that he learned in sign to ask for things he wanted like "drink" "eat" and "ball" with a signed "please" and "thank you". It gave him a sense of accomplishment and encouragement to learn more words through sign.

This is a fun cd, with lots of good songs, like "Dancin' in the Streets," and "Only You"...great, original accompaniments.

As a music teacher, I'll get lots of use out of this one when I'm looking for something fun to do with the kids.

I do wish the screen was larger and in color, but I got a really good deal through amazon pricewise and it is definitely worth what I paid, but not much more. Mine was supposed to be new, but it appears to be "gently used" even though it shipped from amazon.com directly.

I like the laptop appearance, it looks very nice. The detachable part is nice but I wish there was some sort of parent key so that your child couldn't go detaching as they pleased. The touch screen is nice, especially considering in the future everything will be touch screens. There are many many activities...I am a little concerned he may find a few he likes and ignore others....but the variety is good also.

we bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter and we might as well put this one on the won't play with shelf. the spanish/english button is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. They should have it somewhere that a parent can do it but not rely on the children to pick a language. Dur?

Nowhere in the product description does it mention that you need a karaoke machine to see on-screen lyrics for this disc -- but that's exactly the case. I purchased this disc to play in a DVD player with a plug-in microphone, and, while it plays the music, it doesn't show any on-screen lyrics while playing in a DVD player. I am extremely disappointed in the product description.

I recieved my "Party tyme Karaoke:Super Hits 6" about a week ago. My friends and I have had a blast with it, every chance we get we will sing with it! The songs were chosen well and they sound almost just like the real songs. Try it, you will love this C.D.!!

Hot Wheels Learning Laptop

If your son loves hotwheels like mine he will love this. You can attach a hotwheels track and it will record mph. The learning games are great. I bought it for my 7 year old but my 9 year old has been using it as well.
It is portable which is great for car rides or to use when you find yourself at siblings sporting events.
