Fisher-Price Nursery Rhymes CD Player

First the good, my 9 month old is totally intrigued by this, it keeps him busy for at least 20 solid minutes. He especially likes the flashing lights.
It seems really well built (I bought it second hand). I have left this switched on for hours at a time and the batteries last forever.
Now the bad(-ish)...My son's favorite thing to do is hold the face to the floor to make the player 'spin', this can be pretty loud and I think he likes that.
I find the style of singing on a couple of the nursery rhymes pretty irritating (Baa, baa black sheep - shudder). BUT I can deal with it. Thank goodness for the volume control!

I found this online and debated on whether to get it after reading one persons review, Luckily, I read them all because I am so glad I purchased this. My 5 yr old LOVES it. He loved his music player before, but can now share his music with us or play it loud while he dances and "does his tricks" as he calls it which is breakdancing! He likes being able to enjoy his songs while having the Freedom to Move about. I have to say that one reviewer said the sound quality was not good, which is why I almost didn't buy it... I think the Sound is AMAZING!!! It works and sounds so well and is super easy just like the player. He likes it so much I am thinking of purchasing a backup just in case. I was looking for a larger Transformer toy and I was looking at the Cyber-stompin Bumblebee but that one didn't look like the movie. I like my stuff to be real-looking so surfing around I found this guy! He looks great in person. He is a great toy. As a boombox its OK. The sound is low and his whirring is very loud but, after all it is a toy. He is so cute though! He can kind of pose him and he dances like a kid; to his own beat not in time with the music. The first song I had him play was Mr. Roboto by Styx, which I thought was appropriate. :)
The guide book manual that comes in the box explains the finer details like start/stop, volume (etc) so I won't go into that. Overall I really like him as a toy, not as much for a stereo.
