SET Game

Set is about pattern-making, but the patterns touch 4 different categories: shape, color, number and shade. My 7 year-old learned the rules in a few minutes, and we were quickly playing. It's an enjoyable, addictive game, but also requiring concentration and focus to succeed. I highly recommend for the game-oriented family with kids 6+.

This is a good family fun game. Allows for fun and insight and uniqueness for each person. I really enjoyed playing as a group for an afterdinner party. Good game, not the best I have played, but not the worst either. Good clean fun.

UNO Flash Game

My 8 year old son received this as a birthday present last month. He likes regular uno, and his friends who gave the gift are huge uno fans. He and his 5 year old sister LOVE it. Mom finds the lights and sound a little nerve racking and overstimulating! That said - a fun game for them both to play is worth me overcoming the lights and sounds.

Family Time Fun Dinner Games and Activities

Nice tin & good ideas on the cards.
My only problem is that it states up to age 12 for this one, and it was a little boring for my 10 year old. I do think that children under 2nd or 3rd grade will love playing this, so I will keep it in mind for the younger ones, but the age recomendations are not totally accurate.

It does have great ideas you could even use on road trips or just for fun anytime, so it's a keeper. Nice little tin it comes in too, easy to pop in your purse for when the family is eating out and need something to do while you wait for your food with younger kids.

Cat in the Hat - I Can Do That!

My son is turning 4 next month and he LOVES this game. We just got it 2 days ago and we've played it multiple times and he keeps on asking for more. I love how it is a great, positive, confidence-builder game with the "I can do that" little tasks it asks you to do. It's also good with counting 1-2-3's and then counting again at the end with the stars. We've had a lot of fun with this so far. A great family game.

I loved this book as a child and now my daughter loves it too. This is a great way to experience the book in other ways, and to show you (as a parent) how to teach certain aspects of the book.

This is a wonderful old card game! But if every reference I come across states that it was first introduced in 1905, why are there countless references to playing Flinch in my great-great-great-aunt's 1903 diary???

Pressman Guess That Pokeman Game

My 6 year old son is a HUGE Pokemon fan and loves the game "Guess Who". So when we saw this, we def had to purchase it. He loves it! It is a little more challenging than Guess Who, epecially for a child you can't read but after a few games my son was able to figure it out.

I really like this game. I thought it would be hard to learn to play, mostly because I had never heard of it before I bought it. Well I decided to get the game and I love it. I also love the fact that it is easy enough to teach a 10 yr old.
