My 2 y/o really enjoys putting the toolbelt on and playing with the tools. The tools are pretty well built. I wish they didn't have to brand every piece as BtB. Biggest disappointment was the helmet. It does not have an adjustment band inside and is somewhat small. It's actually best described as a plastic bowl and won't stay on his head.
Overall it is good. My son is only 14mos so all he is doing is banging around the pieces but I can see him growing with it. Only one of the pegs fits snugly like it is suppose to so he can hammer them in but the others are loose and a disappointment. After the Chinese Lead Paint scare, I worry about any product like this.

My son always wanted to play with a tape measure, but since they are sharp on the edges, it wasn't safe. I got this for him so that he would have his own. He likes it well, and it works fine. It is large, and you have to crank it to rewind the tape, which is not much like a real one. But he likes the toy, so for the price it was a good purchase.

I recieved this purse as a birthday gift for my one year old after having considered buying it myself many times. The accessories that come with it are cute and fun. The lipstick rattles, the money crinkles, there's a bracelet to wear and mirror to look in, and the keys attach to the front of the purse.
The purse itself is awkward and bulky and barely opens enough to see inside. Not that you'd want to, because the inside is all seams and screws and ugliness. The purse doesn't stay opened or closed that well, it flops back and forth. The switch to change modes is difficult even for me to set on the right mode, and frankly it doesn't teach or sing that much. A few words and couple songs.
A regular (non-electronic) purse with ... Read More:
Very life-like and very durable. These are great! My son is 4 1/2 and plays with these non-stop. He has not gotten bored with them and has found many different ways to "build" and "work on" things.

This is a GREAT workbench! We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday. He was having a construction-themed birthday party AND he really liked playing with some tools he got for Christmas, so we thought this would be the perfect gift. I did lots of searching online before settling on this workbench (after reading reviews and deciding on what we wanted exactly). I like toys that are well built and leave a lot up to the imagination (no batteries, lights, sounds, etc...). So, I considered this workbench and a few others.
The drill does require batteries, but nothing else makes sounds. It includes a plastic working drill (with forward and reverse modes and 4 different bits), a plastic hammer, and a plastic saw. There are no other tools, ... Read More:
My two year old was always trying to help us rake, or dig with the shovel, but he found it very frustrating. He loves these garden tools, and they have been stored for a year outside with no ill effects. My only concern is these are so hefty, I'm afraid he could really hurt his brother if he clobbered him on the head with one of these things. Hasn't happened yet, but makes me a little nervous.
