From the packaging, this toy looks pretty good, but once you get it open you can see that it is cheap and poorly put together. The case did not fit around the edges when closed, and the clasps were difficult to use and popped open on their own. I would not recommend this if you like quality toys!

My four year old niece LOVES this kit. It's fairly simple, but a lot of fun - and she has a great time taking care of this new dog. Our family dog is relieved to not be the test subject anymore!

It's a great toy, and the company came with a lot of recommendations about educational value. It keeps her active and inspires her to take care of animals, which she loves doing. Maybe someday she'll be in vet school! If not, she still had a lot of fun with this.

My son loves his doctor kit! It is very durable. He has so much fun with the shot - he says "OW!" This is the best kit I have seen - very durable, easy to clean, and my toddler hasn't demolished it yet!

while i love the idea of a working stet for a toddler, i would have to say there is another one that i ordered at the same time that worked better-- mostly louder. This one came in pieces and i think assembling it at home made it a poor product. however i would have to say my kid still loved it!

My son received this as a birthday present and loves it. The pager needs batteries (which the previous poster should probably install...it will help it work) The stethoscope actually DOES work beyond the "heartbeat" sound....

My 3 year old gives it two thumbs up!!

Since buying a toy vaccuum worked to get my son to stop fearing our real vaccuum, I thought I'd try a similar tactic for docotr visits. It worked! The kid really feels like he's helping with the examination process! Great toy!

I have fond memories of playing doctor with my old 70's/ 80's doctor kit toy. So . .I get the idea to get this toy doctor kit made by Parents Magazine for my toddler so he can enjoy the same fun. It looks nice on the outside. The packaging gives the ILLUSION of a well-made toy that has nice organized and accessible compartments for all the instruments. WRONG. Inside the toys are packaged in flimsy throw-away plastic that once opened and cleaned up... all the items just pile all cluttered up on top of each other in a tiny corner of a big box ("carrying case") without hinges. . The crapola doesn't end there. It won't even snap shut properly with the junk clasps. so the bottom and all items inside tend to fall off and out! I'd die of fear if I saw ... Read More:
