We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday. It is very sturdy and he loves it! He is learning how to use it very quickly, and in comparison to some of the smaller onces, I feel much more confident that he's safe on this scooter.

My grandson is still not able to pedal the Roll n Ride but has a great time with it in the park. From previous reviews I already knew the age was around 5 before they could pedal so he still has a year or two.

Well I had this toy with my 4 year old and got rid of it and got pregnant immediately. So this time I went to buy a 'walker' for my 9 month old at the consignment shop and this was the only one they had. As soon as I brought it home he pulled up and started pushing it. Yes, it is best for carpet (as most like this are), but it is light enough not to be an issue if it tips. Also my older child liked the ride on mode for awhile, but it did seem to get small for him quick. Though he is now dying to make my baby's into a ride on. Oh and to me it is very simple to change from ride on to walker. I like the rolly toy on top, as he can play with it while standing up with it. Overall definitely worth the $5 I paid at the consignment shop!
My daughter got this for her first birthday in Nov. 2006. Once she figured out how to get on/off by herself, she rode it constantly. My husband counted once and she went around over 100 times in one go. She absolutely loved this toy and still plays with it occasionally and she is almost 3. A must have for your one year old and up.

This was a wonderful purchase. After reading other reviews and comparing prices I chose to purchase the Radio Flyer Pathfinder wagon from Amazon.com, and am very pleased. The price included the shipping, and was much less than other places.
Assembly was incredibly easy, though I did need to contact the manufacturer for a replacement part. The manufacturer was very pleasant and sent the piece immediately, at no cost to me.
The seat belt feature is great for keeping a one year old in place during rides. I especially like that the pull handle is extra long and snaps in an upright position when not in use, or tucks under the wagon for space saving storage. The longer length of the pull handle allows ease of pulling without ... Read More:

I bought this for my nearly 4-yr-old daughter who loves horses. Rather quick and easy assembly, but you really have to push hard to get the tail to click in. The box says you need a screwdriver, but no tools were necessary. She first took it for a ride around inside the house. We have tile floors--it won't go very well on carpet--and then took it outside for a spin. I really had to watch her ride because any big bumps or cracks in the sidewalk could mean a nasty head-over-handlebars spill, plus, since there's really no break like for a bicycle, any slope is potential danger--the horse rolls pretty fast! There is a break, which seems too close to the handlebars and often gets in the way, but it's not intuitive for kids to use and not very effective in slowing ... Read More:

The music is obnoxiously loud and with no volume control or off button I was worried about my son's hearing. So I tried to put duct tape over the speaker which had little results, so I ended up disconnecting the speaker. Don't waste the extra money on the sound feature buy the classic.
This is a much more afforadable "knockoff", it doesn't seem as durable as the "original, but, my grandson loves it in, oh, so many ways. Scary ways, although he uses it as a toy to spin around on, he also uses it as a "stool". He has learned not to step on the spinning base though :). So I guess the educational value is actually 5 star. Great product for the money!
My 17 month old enjoys sitting on it and is starting to get the hang of the pedals. He can scoot it along with his feet on the floor. However, I think for kids under 33" tall it is way too big. I think the box said from heights starting at 26". Even with the seat all the way forward and pedal blocks added to the pedals (sold separately) his feet barely reach the pedals.
