Chicco Radio Control Ducati

My two-year old twin boys each received one of these for Christmas from the in-laws, and my first thought was, "Not another r/c toy." Boy, was I wrong. These are a blast - very sturdy, easy to use for my 4-yr old, and even the boys can use the remote, although they can't quite control the direction of the Ducati yet.

They love to have me "chase" them around the kitchen with these. Unlike other r/c cars, I can steer right, left, forward, and backwards. The only problem is that it doesn't work on carpets - you need to use them on a hard floor.

The other problem is that both motorcyles use the same frequency, so I use one remote for both. Difficult to actually "race" the motorcyles, but fun to race the motorcyle with ... Read More:

It's not that bad as far as durability - my 4 year old has run it down the stairs and pushed it by hand around the house and it still works. He also left it out in the rain for a few hours, and once it dried off it was fine. However, the remote control does not have a screw holding the battery cover on so it would slip off and the battery would come out every time my son used it. I had to tape it on so it wouldn't keep coming off. But the driver leans into turns and the controller directs the moves pretty well.

I had also gotten my 7 year old a different one from Discovery Channel store that is cheaper and is much better quality than this one. It is also much faster than this one, so my 4 year old is not happy that his is so much ... Read More:

New Bright 22" Free-Wheeling Truck with 4 B/O Vehicles

I bought this toy for my son. The toy looked great but the quality is extremely poor. The wheels from the truck trailer fell off instantly. The cars are far from durable. One of them broke the same day my son received it. This is definately one toy I would not recommend buying especially for [$$]. Spend your money on something else.

My son received this toy for his birthday. It seems to be well made and he enjoys it. HOWEVER, it is VERY loud. My ears hurt after listening to it and we will be removing the batteries.
