If you want to get started in RC Airplanes this is a pretty good choice because it works and it is inexpensive. I took mine out and got some really nice flights. It has a pretty good range on it. This was with no wind and I recommend you make your first flight session in no or very little wind. When the wind kicked up I had trouble getting it to fly.

About the batteries. There is a little battery that you put into the plane to make the prop turn. This can be charged up from the included hand-held transmitter/controller in about ten minutes which is very convenient.(You dont have to go home to charge it back up, just plug it into the transmittter for 10 minutes) The transmitter itself requires 8 AA batteries so make sure you buy ... Excellent trainer. Very durable for an RC plane. Good control. Out of the three RC plane that I have tried- the Megatech Airstriker, and the Hobbyzone Phantom- this was the best. I am no pro, but I have had a lot of fun flying this with my brother. Got it caught up in the trees several times, as well as rammed it front first into the ground at considerable speed. Though I have had to replace some parts and do repairs, there was nothing major. Have had a number of flights, and this thing still keeps going. Great plane, get it!

My four-year-old loves playing with Star Wars things. This is a great playset for Star Wars lovers. The cockpit is a bit tricky to open and close, but my boys love the sound effects and the fact it opens up and they can play inside. A favorite!!

I just got this plane two days ago for my birthday. I charged it up and flew it right away. I had a blast. I crashed alot, but it was still fun. The next day I try flying it and its rotor spins slowly and then turns off. I try it again and it doesn't turn on. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm quite disapointed. For 40 dollars you think you'd get a plane that would last longer than two days. I also didn't like how they put indoor plane. I noticed it could fly outdoors, and if crashing to much was the thing that broke it, it sure would of helped flying outdoors in wide open space. Not flying around vases and chairs in my living room.

This toy has parts that need assembly. They do not stay together well and makes the toy frustrating to play with . It is however a nice rendition of Buzz Lightyears spaceship. I give this toy a 3 out of 5 because of the way the parts come apart.
