I could not decide between the Ocean Wonders soother and the Rainforest Peekaboo Soother, so I got both in order to see which was best.
They are priced comparably, although it seems that Amazon just raised the price on the Ocean Wonders one, for some reason. It is still available at other places like Target for about the same price as the Rainforest Soother.
The Ocean Wonders Aquarium soother is what I'm sticking with, and here's why:
1. My 5 month old likes it better! The Rainforest Peekaboo soother has lights and motion, but it's not as dramatic as the bubbles that you get in the Aquarium soother. My 5 month old got tired of the Rainforest soother after a few minutes, while the Ocean Wonders soother ... Read More:
We've had the mobile for a few months now and the baby enjoys it, he's 4 months old and is starting to grab at the animals. Unfortunately because of our crib design we can't attach it to the rail (we have a Morigeau Lepine 5000 series crib). I have to just hold it and put it away when we're done. I would recommend this mobile anyway, and believe it or not the batteries that came with it are still working!
Pros: Creative cute animals, bright colors, good music quality
Cons:
- The beads have a metal ring on the inside that scrapes and clinks against the plastic rod as the mobile spins around. So when you should just hear music, you hear a LOUD sliding sound over the music.
- There are only 2 volume settings for the music. Loud and medium. There is no quiet option which is an issue since the speaker is right next to the baby.
It would also be nice if there was a motion only option or a music only option. We also have never used the remote control but I could see how it could be nice to have. Overall, our baby likes the mobile and falls asleep to it and that's all that really matters.
When my son was two months old, he all of a sudden HATED being in the infant carseat. So driving in the car was very stressful because of his desperate cries. This mobile was a lifesaver for me! Once we started using it he didn't cry anymore, so we swear it was because of the mobile. Since we drive a SUV, we were able to clip it to the ceiling of where the middle seat belt extends from. For us, clipping it on the infant carrier's handlebar was too close to the baby's face.
I definitely recommend it to any parents that faces the same situation we did.
We received this when our son was about 1 month old. He is rarely in the car, so I used the velcro strap to hang it by the changing table to keep him occupied. He loved it so much that I began setting it up on the floor for him for his daily tummy time. The black and white cards were the first time I could really see him focusing on anything except people's faces. He will look at the cards for an extended period of time and not lose interest. I would recommend this product to anyone. It has become my number one item to give to parents of newborns.

I love this mobile and baby does too!! When turned on, the music will change between mozart, bach and classical music with nature noises. The settings are off, music with motion, music with lights and motion and just motion. The mobile lasts for 20 minutes and maintains my little one for a full 20 minutes!! Baby was 2 months old when first purchased and 4 weeks later this is baby's favorite thing!! The light is low, but is pleasant. There is an adjustment for the music noise too. The only thing I would like to see different are more than one song per the mozart, bach and nature selections. Can get a little repetitive, but overall relaxing. Excellent Mobile!!!
These windchimes are a MUST HAVE for the first couple of months of baby's life. When my baby was just a week old she enjoyed staring at them and after a couple of weeks she was batting them with her hands. Now at 2 months old she is kicking them for long periods of time. She LOVES the sound they make. She squeals in delight. They make a lovely, soft tinkling noise and are very pleasant for the adults to listen to as well! Well worth the money!
My daughter is obsessed with this stroller. We've had it for a few months and it's still her favorite "toy". She loves putting things like her sippy cup or whatever else she fancies for the day in the little basket and sets her "baby" in the front. When we come home from the farmers market she'll put real fruit and veggies in the basket like we do...it's very cute. Prior to this stroller she LOVED her walker wagon which supported her when she was learning to walk...but now she's walking she prefers this. I even bring it to grandma and grandpas house - it's very portable and light. Oh, and it's pretty sturdy...just recently she sat in it to "try it out" I think and it didn't collapse (she's 25 pounds). This is a must have.
Our daughter (4 months old) loves this toy. We have it on her infant carrier and it helps keep her occupied in the car. She reaches out to it and tries to grab the different parts.
Bought this for my son who is now nearly 9 months. He had it less than 2 weeks before one of the prongs on the center part broke off. He does love it but it scares me to get another one for fear that he could break another one off and put it in his mouth with the jagged edge.
