My 17 month old enjoys sitting on it and is starting to get the hang of the pedals. He can scoot it along with his feet on the floor. However, I think for kids under 33" tall it is way too big. I think the box said from heights starting at 26". Even with the seat all the way forward and pedal blocks added to the pedals (sold separately) his feet barely reach the pedals.

Very atractive stinker....meaning good looking and sturdy like Sarah Palin but stinky shoes.....the tires do have a strong odor that seems to last despite airing assembled cycle on a porch for several days.

Very durable construction. Lots of metal parts (instead of plastic). Seems like a very solid bike that should last longer than will be needed.

My 2yr old nephew got this from grandma his first birthday and he still loves it! He not only loves riding in it but now loves pushing it to. He will either push it using the handle or I will easily remove the handle so he can push just the car. He loves to ride everytime he visits grandma (which is 2-3x p/wk). He is small for his age so it still fits him just fine.

My only concern is that there is no brake on it so when he tries to climb in on his own it will start to roll. The older and more independent he gets the more he tries to climb in on his own. We have put it inside the garage so it is not as easily accessible to him.

This trike is too tall, and the front wheel is too small. The result is that it tips over VERY easily. I won't even let my two year old on it, because it falls over so easily. My 3 1/2 year old can ride it straight on a totally flat surface, but we live on a cul-de-sac that has a slight slant to it, and any time she tries to turn it at all she tips right over. Even the 4 year old boy next door falls down on this. It's so tippy that the neighbors won't let any of their kids ride it! Not only that, but the grippers on the handles come right off. I love Radio Flyer, and I certainly have fond memories of their products from when I was a kid, but I wish I had gotten a lower, wider, safer tricycle instead of this one.

I purchased this toy for my daughter as her first riding toy, because I had one like it as a child. She was one year old at that time we purchased it. She LOVED it and rode it all of the time. It became even more popular with her as she grew. She is now 4 and still rides it, and our 2 year old son loves it too. It continues to be a favorite in our house. It has lasted very well and will be around for years to come. They FLY around the house on this trike, and even ride it on the deck at times. It's very study and stable to ride. We love this toy!!

I read the other reviews about not being able to assemble it or parts not working correctly and I haven't had any of those problems. It has worked as advertised for our child so we have like it but now, we are disappointed. Our son has outbrown the need to have a parent steer it for him so we removed the parent steering to allow him to do on his own and guess what? It has no brakes. We live in a hilly neighborhood so there is only two ways to stop...hit something or put your feet down. He likes riding it but can only do so in our garage since our driveway is on a slope. We had a very hard time finding this product. We called every store in our area before finding this on Amazon. Our 18 mo. old loves this car! She has it inside when she is inside and outside when she is outside. The storage in the back is great fun to put her keys and other toys in. I think it is a smart toy "must have" because of the numerous ways kids can play with it.
