I purchased this as a gift for my one-year old neice in Las Vegas. I thought it would be good because it can be used indoors or outdoors. (The
heat in the summer, makes it too hot to play outside) I thought it may be
a little "old" for her but she loves it. It can be lowered so a one-year
old can reach it. My sister says it can be tippy so you have to make sure it has the sand added to the base. I have seen videos of my neice and it looks like she could play with it all day. I would have to recommend this for all kids and am thinking about getting one for my 2-year old daughter.

My two year old son loved the hoop. On his birthday he played for 45 minutes before he put the ball down. It is very durable as well. We havn't even put anything in the bottom to weigh it down. very good product.

My mother bought this for my son for a Birthday Present in May. We put it up for him to play with in June- by August the hoop would not stay up anymore. It was like the sun had made the plastic too hot and now the hoop is too heavy for the base to keep up. It is very frustrating! I think the plastic they make these toys with these days are cheap!

This was purchased as a gift. The receiver has complained about hanging the hoop on the door. She wishes that it could be hung on the wall.

So you have kids or little brother or sister or you just like shooting hoops?

This is great, I use paper balls and throw papers into the garbage can through this hoop.
The ball is a little heavy and could easily break the hoop after a few unsuccessful throws.

-Use a lighter ball
-Generally fun.

The system arrived with a missing wheel. Spalding did send a replacement wheel one week later. I put the system together by myself in about three hours.The directions were not the best. I was very disappointed with the backboard. The polycarbonate is only an eight of an inch thick.My ten year old son has enjoyed shooting basketball with this system(I guess that is what matters most)but for me as an adult there is not enough stability with this system. I will be surprised if there is any longevity or endurance with this system. Plus the base leaks.

NITE BRITE Glow in the Dark Basketball

It is a very cool ball and really glows but it smells really bad. Your hands will smell afterwords. Remember reading that the glow in the dark plastics can be toxic, just makes me wonder about this ball.
