My husband and I were troubling over how to get our three-year old daughter to learn when she could "get up" in the morning...we brainstormed and thought of the most desirable features of a toddler clock. Well, this one hit the mark on every one. It runs on an AC adapter, the clock can "talk", the voice is not obnoxious, parents can control the volume, the light changing feature at "wake up" time is perfect, the control panel is only accessible by parents, the games seem appropriate and clever, and I think the product will be adaptable for years to come...can't say enough good things. At first I thought the price was a little high but now that we've received it and used it, no complaints! A must-buy for any parent, especially of a toddler.

My little boy really likes it, and it took the sting out of the fact that big sister got a whole new bed.

There are two downsides, however:
1) Seams are not very strong.
2) The width and length are enough to fit around a mattress only, which means that if you have an external headboard or footboard the train will not fit over it and sit on the floor. You will slip the train over the mattress and it will rest on the frame at the level of the mattress. It is not designed for this, and if it does not sit on the floor the panel with the "wheels" toward the front is higher than the mattress and blocks entry to the bed. My son throws himself across that panel, and I doubt the seams are going to hold up very long.

Giant Road Rug

My 18-mth old loves to drive his cars on this rug and stop at all the houses and the train station, etc. Very tough material, but still soft enough to play on. Great product!

I purchased this even after reading other reviews that said it had an uncomfortable strap/seam across the middle. The "Princess" ones I purchased had that seam but my daughters didn't mind it. The Cars bed though didn't have that seam. It has a large "X" seam underneath instead of the horizontal one, so it's much more comfortable. The sleeping bag is very flimsy but you can always use your own bedding, it's great to have something portable to take to hotels, sleepovers, etc. that doesn't require blowing it up. And it's off the floor, unlike an air mattress. So I think it's great!

the book ends are very cute and my daughter loved them. The problem is that they are made out of light wood and do not hold up any books. My daughter uses them as a toy/decoration in her room.

My 9 yr old is small and still able to fit in it length-wise, but will probably only get a year or two use out of it. It has the horizontal strap/seam across the middle as others mentioned, but they didn't mind it at all. I bought the CARS version for my son and his had a large "X" strap/seam instead, so it is more comfortable. The sleeping bad is flimsy but you can always use your own bedding. I like it because it's off the floor and you don't have to inflate it. Great for hotels, sleepovers, etc.
