The only problem with this toy is if you have two girls in which we do, then you will have to buy two bc they will fight over it all the time. I bought this for my 6 yr old on her birthday and the 5 yr old always wants to listen to it. They Love It Awesome gift. She likes this more than any other gift!

I purchased this for my little girl who is turning 5 in September. She loves the Barbie stuff, so I know she will enjoy her Barbie MP3 player. I have not given it to her yet, but I did set it up and downloaded the software to the computer. While I was very disappointed that I could not transfer her/our music on I-Tunes to this MP3 player (wished someone could give me a good reason as to why they didn't make it compatible), I found some great Barbie and Disney music on her CDs, transfered them to Windows Media Player, and then it as a simple download to her Barbie MP3. I listened to it, and it sounds great for a $20 MP3 player! So, with that said, I would highly recommend this product. I"m not sure if we will get any use out of the other ... Read More:

Our two year old computer did not even recognize the MP3 was out there so it could not be charged, uploaded with songs or anything...tried it on a different computer without luck. Upon looking for helps and other issues out there, we discovered numerous other reviews of people with disappointing troubles so we opted to get our money back and get something totally different from a line of products we have had good experiences with. We ended up buying a half gig Sansa shaker from Sears for our 7 year old for the same price as this Barbie model. She thinks it is great fun to have her own MP3 like her older siblings. We are very pleased with Sansa products.
