This toy was a big hit with my nephew. It was an excellent size, the stick was very sturdy. The rubber bottom was most appreciated by the parents and the floors! The sounds the horse made was not annoying. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone.

We got this for our four year old who loves horses. She has a great time with it. Really don't have any complaints other than it is a pain to unzip the horse to turn off the battery after each use (as recommended by the manufacturer). We'll see how durable it is...she's played with it a week, and it has held up so far. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that we have not had it that long.

My son received this stick horse for his 2nd birthday and he really is enjoying it. He finally knows to ride on the stick with the horse's head up but for a while the head was on the ground, like a dust mop! It has reins to hold on to and good horse sounds when you pinch one of the ears. We ended up putting rubber cap on the end of the stick but the end isn't very sharp or abrasive. The horse head is very plush and the hair has so far stayed on its head! The head is also a good weight, not too heavy for him to keep upright like some others can be.
