I got the Bakugan Battle Brawlers for my grandson's 10 birthday. I was blessed to be able to watch him open it on webcam. He said this was the best birthday present ever and I am now the most awsome-est grandma in the whole world. What I like about this particular product is that there are lots of things that go with this item. I can build him a good collection and know that whatever I buy won't disappoint him.

Mattel Disney Pixar's Cars Mack Truck Playset

This toy kept my 3 yr old son busy for hours and was one of his favorite toys that he got last Christmas. He continued playing with it quite a bit the first couple of weeks after receiving it and still enjoys it on and off today. I was very impressed by the attention to detail they put in to this toy and to date nothing has broken off, even with him being fairly rough on it at times.

LEGO® Batman™ Batman's Buggy: Escape of Mr. Freeze

I seriously considered this purchase for my son, who loves Batman but has the patience of a 4-year old. The age range on it says 5+, so I worried that it was too advanced. I was pleasantly surpised to find that he was able to do the majority of the construction, simply by looking at the printed booklet and following step-by-step. Not sure how educational that is, but I enjoyed watching him confidently fit the pieces together. It was fun putting helping him put it together when he couldn't understand the pictures. He really likes the set and he hasn't let either Batman or Mr. Freeze out of sight for the past few days.

I bought this for my children so they can share in a pivotal moment in this nation's history. They had the Barack doll sitting on the coffee table last night as we watched his historical speech. We were all proud, and the children enjoyed having the doll at least as much as they did watching the speech!

Previously I had ordered a Master Chief from the series, and I was very pleased with it. The Series 2 Arbiter...not so much. Sure it looks great, but its points of articulation are the big disappointment. It's hard enough to stand it upright, let alone putting it in any pose you want.

Lego 4+ Basic Bulk Set

I ordered this lego set for my son's 4th birthday. It arrived, I hid it and promptly forgot where it was. Kaplan (the seller) was SO nice when I reported (in error) that I hadn't rec'd the package. Kaplan has the BEST customer service, they replied immediately to my email, they called me personally, they shipped another set immediately. When I realized my mistake they could not have been more gracious. I will recommend Kaplan to all my friends who have kids. My son loves the set, it's more Lego's than he can handle! It was a very positive experience. Thanks Kaplan!!!

Transformers Movie Deluxe Class Bumblebee 2008 Camaro

I am writing this review on behalf of my 9-1/2 year old son who simply loves Transformers. After saving up enough of his allowance money, he insisted on getting this particular Autobot Transformer.

He felt that the transformation from the Camaro concept car to Autobot was a piece of cake. The transformation back to Camaro concept car, however, was a different story.

The instructions were no help since they only showed how to transform from the car to Autobot (i.e. no reverse instructions). He eventually figured it out, and can now do it in about 3-5 minutes, but it was no walk in the park. After reading the other reviews, we definitely feel your pain. But don't lose hope.
