I received the 12" Raggedy Andy and the 12" Raggedy Ann today. They are both adorable, and well made. The expressions are great. I am very well pleased.

The photo on this site is not accurate, though. The bow around Raggedy Andy's neck is black rather than the red pictured. And the doll does not have the suspenders shown in the photo.

He is great, though, and I'm very satisfied with him. He will be the subject of many, many smiles from me as he sits around my house, smiling himself.

I often work late in a office that uses timed motion sensing after 5PM, so I thought that rather than jump up like a wild man every 15 minutes to turn the light back on I'd instead put a small flashlight over my ear. In practice this doesn't work as well as I had hoped. The spot illuminated by this light is small enough to make it annoying to keep it on the subject of interest. The quality of the light is very blue, causing eyestrain if used for long periods. And the earpiece is somewhat uncomfortable and hard to adjust. On the plus side, the light is very handy for working under the desk when cables need to be moved, because it frees both hands and provides plenty of light to locate and orient plugs and such. The Oball is a great toy for a young baby. Most early baby toys are hard plastic rattles and this toy is neither hard nor a rattle which separates it from the rest. My 5 month old daughter grabbed onto this at a store and surprised me by playing with it quite a bit.

Due to the webbing, it's easy for baby to grasp and hold on to, so this is a great toy for a 3-4 month old to start playing with. As baby ages he/she can roll, throw, and even kick this toy.

The Oball is 4.5" x 4.5", and made out of a soft jelly plastic material so it's safe for baby to throw. It is PVC and lead free so you'll feel good about letting them chew on it as well.

My son was 13 months old when I bought him this toy! He loves the squirters and fills up the fish with water from the tap! He's 16 months old now, and this is still the first toy that he grabs when he gets into the tub! Best $14 I've spent on him!
