I got this for my 6 year old son, who loves to color and draw, after he saw it at a store. I liked the idea of him having a case to carry his art supplies. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the handle was already broken. Not long after we got it, one of the hinges broke. As mentioned by another reviewer, the supplies are held in the case with cheap thin molded plastic that quickly gets torn and warped. This liner also doesn't stay put on the respective sides of the case, so after closing the case, you have to reset the liner on each side. The markers are of good quality. The pencils are decent, but short and often the lead breaks easily. The oil pastels are poor.

Lacing & Tracing Dinosaurs

Most lacing cards don't hold up, or are for some reason, horribly girly. With three boys, these were just the ticket. They really enjoyed playing with them and loved learning the dinosaurs names too! Best of all, they'll last forever, because both the dinos and the strings are incredibly durable, a good thing with three boys!

These are cool art sets. Nice quality art supplies and plenty of them. I gave as gifts and the kids went crazy. Wish I had bought one for myself.

Giant Gift Box- Rainbow 6000 Bead

Hama beads are the perfect project for a rainy day. It takes minimal supervision for the kids to create different shapes, objects, etc.. I used this for a playdate with 4 first grade girls and it kept them occupied for almost 2 hours (of course, then I had to iron all of their creations, but that was easy). I would recommend for a fun birthday present or project to keep in the rainy-day closet.
