I am an adult who ordered this CD player because I love the feature of the speakers built into the player. I don't enjoy headphones as much as I enjoy carrying my CD player with me around the house and listening to it through the speaker. These types of CD players are hard to find. I thought that the design was cute and clever.

Unfortunately, the speakers are so weak that it is almost impossible to hear the CDs being played unless the player is put up to the ear, which defeats the whole purpose. With the headphones, the sound volume is louder.
