I bought this as a gift for a 1 year old. She carried it around with her almost every day for a least six months and still brings it out of the toy box often. Sound is a little low but she doesn't seem to mind. It would be better if it had a sound control from high to low.

Clock has some nice features, like being able to turn on and off the nightlight using your voice, but it has some negative aspects as well. The alarm sounds are awful! Rooster crowing? Come on. And it is super sensitive to sounds. It will "talk" to me when I'm putting my daughter's clothes away. Still, my 8 year old enjoys it for now so really, what else matters?
