Had two Bilibo's delivered to my grandchildren (ages 1.5 and 2.5) while we were on vacation. What great fun the Bilibo's are! They spin and rock in them, sort toys into them, cradle their babies in them and walk around with them on their heads acting like cartoon characters. We haven't even tried them out in snow! The play value is immense and never ending which is what great toys become.

And while at my 2.5 yr. grandchild's, she stands in it, hangs on to a chair and twists and balances standing in it. Her mother was a gymnast and NCAA diver and this looks like a great toy to build those ankles up for balancing and take-offs. plastic is cold in the winter and it still stank. if the baby spits up (or other bodily functions should leak) all the little creases become tiny rivers and it's a pain to get them cleaned out. her brother, one year older, got into it and caused it to spring a leak. don't even try to patch it.

Melissa & Doug Stacking Train

Love it, love it, love it. I bought this for my son's second birthday. His eyes lit and and he played with it 1/2 hour straight. I finally had to take it away for bedtime. First thing in the morning he was asking for his train. My 4.5 yr daughter loves playing with it too.

He can't put the train back together perfectly yet, but much better than I expected. Great learning tool, great puzzle, great for hand eye coordination. I only wish it had a pull string - I might have my husband add that on.

My little girl loves these! More than any other toy, it is these she always asks for - I end up hiding them so they don't get scattered, and save them for just before bedtime when she needs to wind-down and do something quietly. She is only just grasping the concept of matching the cards up (at 17 months) but loves the pictures and the textures, shows me the cards and makes the animals sounds etc.
Definitely great value for the amount of time she's played with them. Would recommend from around 14 months - or when they stop mouthing everything.

Alex SHAVING IN THE TUB

My "girly" daughter got this for her 4th birthday and loves to shave her legs in the tub! She has no idea it's a toy probably designed for boys--and it's a pleasure to see her playing with something that's not so pink, for once!

Wow, what a bummer. We have lots of Melissa and Doug toys, and I've always been very happy with their quality and durability. This one however, is shameful! My first clue should have been as I was taking it out of the box, the top layer of cheap wood splintered off. Had I bought it in a store, I'd have taken it right back. This was a birthday present for our daughter though, and bought online, so I thought "Well, it's just one strip of wood." Our child loved this toy right away...that being said, within the first week the entire area of blue wood began splintering off. All over the floor. Not only could my daughter have choked on a piece, but she could have scraped or cut herself, etc.

Schylling Rubber Piggy Bank

I got this cute piggy bank for my granddaughter. I like that it is plastic and not ceramic. Helps her learn to save money. It is a more natural looking pig than the other normal piggy banks. The bandana adds a cute touch.

LeapFrog® Tag Kid Classic Storybook The Little Engine That Could

I've reviewed the Tag and the books. Basically I would place this book towards the top of the heap. Sponge Bob is so far the best followed by this book. I rate the books on quality of inter-activity and content. Not to mention the art work is of a quality that you would expect. The voices seem off but I'd have to see the movie again to verify. Overall a decent book and 2nd on my recommendation list.

I think my granddaughter started to jump before she did anything else. She just loves this. It is also light weight enough to move around, but sturdy enough for her to jump.

Received Lamaze puppytunes rather quickly. It is just adorable. I would recommend this toy for any child. It is so cute.
