I think it's a great product. My son is seven months old and seems fascinated by it. I also like that it comes with batteries-that's convenient. The one thing that is a bit frustrating-the stars get blurry if you have it far away from the ceiling, even five feet away, which is a normal height dresser. Also, it needs to be in the center of the room, so that makes it difficult to have it up close to the ceiling. Overall, great product-just frustrated by placement of turtle needed for optimal results.

Sassy Baby's First Books

Our baby has lots of books and we make many available to her in her crib to read when she wakes up in the morning or after her nap. However, out of all of the books, these are the ones that she reads (and likes getting read to her) again and again. We only gave them to her after the plastic smell wore off after about a week.

This set is nice because the books cover a few developmental levels - at first, when she was 3-4 months old, she only responded to the repetitive words and rhythm in "Hello Bee, Hello Me" and has gradually starting liking the other books. Now, at 12 months, she loves to leaf through the photo album (at least after I got around to getting some photos to put into it) and lift the flaps on the Peek-A-Boo Book. ... Read More:

The LeapFrog ClickStart games are not the most exceptional as far as quality of the character resemblence, and none of the games are going to turn your child into an Einstein. But my four year old loves to play them and she is learning to spell from them and learning computer skills. She especially loves anything Disney Princess. Next to the game already downloaded on the product when you buy it, this is the game she likes the most. I try to limit TV time so if I can get ready in the morning and she is doing something interactive/educational I feel it's a bonus.

Little Playzone with Sounds and Lights

I ordered this after seeing my son in the one at his sitters house. He loves it. He isn't a crawler yet, but it is the only place that he can go that the weiner dogs can't :-) I put a Sscat in it when he is out, as the cat also loves to jump in and get his toys. You would not be disappointed. It is easy to assemble and move, he loves the piano and there is plenty of room for me to sit and play with him inside.

Hannah Montana "In Concert Collection" Deluxe Singing w/ "True Friend"

My 3 daughters are avid Hannah Montana fans, actually that might be an understatement! My oldest got this one recently for a b-day and it's pretty cool. The doll itself is very pretty and has fashionable clothing on, very Hannah Montana-ish! There are 3 sayings this doll has when you push her stomach....first one says "Once again Hannah Montana has made the world a better place", second says, "Oh sweet nibblets!" and the last one sings "True Friend" which is one of my daugthers favorite songs. And there's a seperate switch under the armpit area that allows you to play a longer version of the "True Friend" song. My daughter's collecting them all and this one is a nice addition and well made. What girl between 6-12 wouldn't love this doll??

Tiny Love Symphony-in-Motion Mobile- Farm Yard

We've had the mobile for a few months now and the baby enjoys it, he's 4 months old and is starting to grab at the animals. Unfortunately because of our crib design we can't attach it to the rail (we have a Morigeau Lepine 5000 series crib). I have to just hold it and put it away when we're done. I would recommend this mobile anyway, and believe it or not the batteries that came with it are still working!

This toy is very good for keeping my son occupied while I'm feeding him. Without something to do, he gets bored and it's very difficult to keep him in his highchair. However, if I had known that Melissa & Doug toys were made in China, I would have found a different toy instead. I can't imagine why a company would enlist China to make simple wooden toys when we have plenty of hard working people and plenty of lumber here. I won't be buying from China this holiday season, so I won't be buying any more Melissa & Doug.

Another great product from Melissa and Doug. As with all their wooden toys this is extremely well made. It is bright and colourful, and has a number of different educational aspects; Colours, shapes, numbers and also learning to put small objects on a thin shape. I am very impressed with this and although at this age (14 months) my little guy is only really putting the things on randomly I am sure that this will last for quite some time before it loses its appeal for both fun and education. Highly recommended.
