Littlest Pet Shop Bathtime

I just recieved it in the mail, my mom ordered it for my daughter for Christmas, I just still can't get over how much it cost for this little! With shipping it was over $30.00. It's really cute and I'm sure it will be a big hit in our house, but I'm sure you could find it cheaper somewhere else, or at least get more for the same price, like at Walmart (the whole set with an actual house for the animals is less than $20.00). The plastic bag to store it is of good quality and will last a long time though.

My daughter got this at her one year old birthday party and I thought it looked really lame, so I didn't bring it out of the box for a few weeks until one day when I desperately needed a new bathtime toy-- She LOVED it! and has been playing with it in the bath out of the bath ever since-- even now at 2 1/2-- she even brings the little characters to bed with her when she can find them-- incredible! The most long lasting toy ever.

just got this today. the foam neighborhood w/ winding streets is so adorable and floats pefectly. the cut-out makes for a perfect little 'lake' effect for the toy boat. i like that it came with 5 cute little squeeze toys.

I bought these for my 12m old. He did not play with them. I tried for a month and then I put them away. I took them out when he was 18m. Still wasn't impressed. Not worth it!

Alex Fashion in the Tub

My nearly 4 yo received this for her 3rd birthday. She enjoys playing with it-making a "closet" on our tub wall to pick outfits out for the dolls. My now 10 month old with 7 teeth has chewed on several of these-as she grabs them off the wall (many of them stay up for several days on the wall without extra water) and likes to play with them... and none have been broken at all. I think this is a wonderful "big girl" tub toy.

I would recommend for 12 months and up. I bought this for my daughter, and we use it a lot at bath time as well as daytime. What I like is that she can grow into it a little bit, because they have a hook and several fishes. You "catch" the fish with the hook. At this point, she is too young for it, but if we can hold onto those pieces long enough, at some point that would be a great dexterity challenge for her!

Fisher-Price Suds and Surprise Dora

My husband bought Suds and Surprise Dora for our 5 and 2 year old daughters. Dora does successfully attach to the tub, the refrigerator, the windows, and anywhere else they put her. They enjoyed playing with Dora's hair a few times, but now we use Dora differently at my house because...Surprise Dora is incredibly CREEPY.

Her hair looks great in the picture, but in reality it is coarse, messy, uneven, and it falls out in clumps. Worse, it looks like she ran into Chucky because she's missing her lower body. She's not "anatomically correct, ya' know".

These tablets are good because they disinigrate very well in tub water and the colors are vibrant. However the color of the tablets before they go into water is different than the color they actually are in water which makes it very confusing for both myself and my daughter. It makes it very hard for me to teach her about mixing colors (like yellow +blue=green) if we don't know what colors we are starting out with.
