The shapes are fun for really young ones but when they try to lace them, would agree with other reviewer that it's not easy especially for toddlers! they should have made molded a tube down the middle to track the stubby "needle", made the holes a little larger, and the needle longer! Would not recommend.

This beading kit seemed to be a good value, and the designs were cute. However, I bought it for an 8 year old, and I think she will need quite a bit of supervision to follow the directions, and finishing one of the projects. If you are buying for an older child, or one with a good attention span for this type of project, this would be a good choice.
