Alex Watch It! with 7 Changeable Bands

My daughter received this watch as a birthday gift and loved it. She wore it once and the crystal cracked but the watch still worked. After reading the other reviews, I'm hesitant to buy a replacement watch. It doesn't seem to be durable enough for children.

Parents Pop Beads Snap

I like the pop beads from Parents a lot, however was extremely disappointed when I found out that Target carries them for $16 ($15 and some odd cents plus tax) and I paid nearly $40 from amazon and the store that was selling them online. I will definitely think twice before purchasing from this over priced site again.

After my kindergartener broke her foot just before summer vacation, I got her several Perler fuse bead sets to take her mind off of missing swimming lessons and bike riding. She and her 9-yr-old brother have had a wonderful time making designs of butterflies, cars, aminals, flowers, etc. and have given them to their friends, grandmas, teachers, and have left a space in some to string as Christmas ornaments. She has told me that she isn't so sad about no swimming because she loves "doing bead shapes" so much. Only her teenage sister and I are allowed to touch the iron. My seven year old niece and I had fun with it for about an hour. It is not as great as it looks though. The pieces are gone quickly, and the machine will probably just sit there not being used now. You know how it is...they get bored quickly at this age, and lose interest very fast.
