I just got started with polymer clay bead making. I've been seeing this item in the store and wondered how on earth it works and what it does.

I finally decided to buy one and try it out. Mine didn't come with the round thing pictured above. (Maybe that is the measuring cup?)

This gadget is pretty spiffy. It neatly rolls beads into three shapes. You pinch off a piece of clay (it has to be large enough, but not too large; I haven't figured out the measurement yet--maybe I should read the instructions!), put it in one of the grooves (round, bicone, or oval) of the bottom tray, place the top tray on, and slide the two tray pieces back and forth, gently exerting pressure.
