we've had this bike for 2 years and the only part that we needed replaced was the battery charger and that was our fault. The battery lasts for a good 10 miles and this thing is sturdy. My 6 year old can't destroy it and that's a biggie......

Kettler Sprint Balance Bike

This bike has been a huge hit since the UPS man brought it a month ago. It has been ridden everywhere. There is no more walking outside with my 3 year old son begging me to carry him. He rides. He can even balance while coasting down hills. We have a farm and are constantly going from building to building and out to fields, and this bike has freed up my hands for things other then children. He gets excited to do daily chores because he can ride his bike. It was hard to assemble. The instructions were barely acceptable. We had to take it apart and reassemble it a couple of times before we figured it out. I am glad we chose this bike. The bike is very cute, very durable. All I would say is, my 2 1/2 year old is very tall and she still has a hard time reaching the pedals all the way! The seat keeps on popping off, but it doesn't seem to bother her. All in all, a good price for such a bike...

I LIVE IN A CITY THAT HAS A HIGH BIKE-THEFT RATE. THE LOCK LOOKED STURDY IN PICTURES ON THE WEB AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT, BUT I COULD CHEW THROUGH THIS SUCKER WITH MY TEETH. RETURNING IT COST AS MUCH AS THE LOCK. SO I USE IT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A MUCH STURDIER LOCK.

works fine, still have my bike a month later. knocked off all the plastic junk with a hammer and screwdriver to make it smaller. Comes with a big fistfull of spare keys, which is great, if you're a flake like me. so far the bracket to attach it to the bike needs to be retightened once in a while, and it doesn't really clip the lock securely, but i mounted it so gravity does the work. Many people complain that the breaks, so be careful how you're going to hang the lock off the bike.
