OnGuard Bulldog DT 5012 Bicycle U-Lock and Extra Security Cable

I've had this lock for over a month now and overall, it's been a good experience. I haven't had any of the key problems mentioned by some other reviewers (I did notice that the key will not turn smoothly if the lock is loose - so, if you want your key to turn well, make sure that the bar and the U are flush and fully engaged.) The lock is definitely pretty heavy-duty, and excellent for that old trick of "park next to a nicer bike with a cable lock." So far I've not had any problems leaving my bike downtown in a fairly thief-heavy town (Santa Cruz, CA).

Planet Bike 1007-3 Comp Floor pump with Love Handle (More Durable than OId Comp)

This floor pump works as it should. The nozzle seals onto the tire valve with a flick of a lever. You can pre-set the desired air pressure on the pressure dial/gauge so you can easily monitor the progress of inflating. The ergonomically-designed love handles prevent stress on the wrists. Within minutes my tires are properly inflated and I'm ready to roll. Will accomodate Presta and schrader tire valves (but there's no attachment for inflating a basketball). I can't predict this pump will last for a decade, but I'm very pleased that it accomplishes a simple task very well.

Easier than the Freeline.
Waaaay easier!

My cousins who use ripstik/waveboard learned to control this in less than 10 minutes! I am NOT kidding!

I learned this in under 5 mins, because I already used a similar but more difficult version. It is called Freeline skates!
Personally, I would stick to Freeline skates, but my knees can't handle. I lost patience, so I made the switch to Xlider.

Xlider is the korean version.
I guess "Xglider" is americanized.

More fun (in my opinion) than ripstik/waveboard.
Seriously!
Anyone who'd see you on the streets with these will ALWAYS think it's super hard to learn, but really, it's not THAT difficult!

Little Tikes: Junior Quad - Pink

It didn't take more than a couple minutes for our 18 month old to understand how the foot pedal works. She hasn't got the steering down yet but the Junior Quad has a handy little toggle switch right in front of her that puts it into forward or reverse. My only complaint is the noise of the engine, but it's no worse than any other electronic toy these days. It runs well on new carpet in the family room & very well everywhere else on wood floors. As far as the educational value, I do consider this a learning tool. She is better understanding the space around her, thinking ahead (as in which way is clear to drive in next) the ideas of "forward" & "backward", and multi-tasking (steering & using the foot pedal at the same time). very fast i have them on my longboard and i stand up paddle with a long pole on it and man it flies compared to my abec 5.
once you break them in.
i put my abec 5 on my other board with larger wheels and my board with the bones6 with smaller wheels roll faster top speed.
they work well and are worth the money go for it
30 year old man who has been riding since i was 6
had reds before and i was the fastes kid on the block now im 30 and still the fatest man on the block. No tricks just speed with style.

So I bought this for my nephew for his 1st birthday and had it sent to his house. My Sister called and said it was really cool and pretty heavy duty but they didn't send the screws to attach the ladders and some of the pieces didn't line up well. She said it was nice and heavy duty but lacked a little quality in craftsmanship. If they spent a little more time with attention to detail during production, this would be a 5 star item. Kind of a bummer for the amount of money. Oh well.

OnGuard PitBull MINI DT 5008 Bicycle U-Lock and Extra Security Cable

I bought the lock about three weeks ago and use it regularly. I had expected the cable to be the thin kind that can be used to secure seat post but find it very useful anyway. The U-lock can barely attach the bike frame to a post, so the cable is useful to secure the front wheel. I know that cables do not offer much protection but a thief would only get the front wheel by cutting the cable and the risk of being caught for such a small payoff is probably a deterent. I take the seatpost with me.

Giro Indicator Sport Bike Helmet (Black, Universal Fit)

For a $30 helmet, it seems good enough. The size can be adjusted for both the chin straps and the back of the head. The only knock I have on it is that the extra pads that come with it don't stick well at all. They even fall out when I am wearing the thing (not sure how that happens). I ended up super gluing the remaining pads inside the helmet.

The Westport bike arrived in a hugh box. So hugh I couldn't get it into my apartment without first opening the box and taking out each of the parts individually. After somewhat of a struggle getting the pieces together, I was ready to ride! Only to find that the tires needed inflating. As I tirelessly (no pun intended) tried to pump them up with a manual tire pump which took all of my energy, I found that the other two tires also needed inflated. The weather is beginning to turn cold and it looks like I will not be able to find out whether the tires have something wrong with them or that I just didn't inflate them enough.
