My boy received this 3 years ago when he was 1 1/2 years old. He loved to sit on it in the house for the first year and turn around on it. After the first year, we moved it outdoors to the big sandbox. It has sat in the sandbox ever since.
My boy is now 4. He loves to go outside and "work" on his excavator. He can do everything really well now. He loves how it looks like the "real" thing. It has held up really great and has not faded or rusted. Some of the stickers are peeling off. It has sat for 2 years in all sorts of weather, including the scorching 110 degrees of summer and the freezing nights of winter.
My only complaints are that one of the bults in the "arm" of the excavator routinely comes undone ... Read More:

Overall, a nice bike for our 3 1/2 year old daughter. A few small problems:
* The assembly guide included in the box didn't seem to be about this particular bike (a totally different model was discussed).
* The wheels have no inner tube -- fine by me, except that it turned out to be impossible to put air into the wheels using a hand pump; needed to take the bike to the gas station on its first day, as it came with floppy tires
* The front plate was not attached to the bike, nor was there any hardware to attach it with
I live in a city where there is an unbelievable amount of bike theft. When I got my new bike, I knew I had to go to extra lengths to protect it. After doing a lot of research, this lock stood out as the most effective at preventing theft. It is nice to know I don't have to worry about my bike. Thieves just pass on by, looking for easier pickings.
This is great helmet. It is high quality and as nice as some I have looked at for twice the price. According to my 11 yr old son...it is also "very cool". It came with a decal pack that allowed him to customise it. I am very pleased with this purchase.

My son rode this around the house (we cleared out the furniture) for several days. Works GREAT, even after nearly a year. Suggests re-charging every month, but battery holds a charge much longer than a month, even without constant riding. This is one of the best battery-operated ride-ons I've ever seen, and we've tried a few. Goes forever, and we've had no problems with tipping over. My son was terrified of this toy at first (he was 35 months). It has a very quick takeoff, and no one had prepared him BEFORE he got on. He didn't know the gas pedal would make it go, and his foot naturally fell there. So we had him try again about 3 months later. PRE-WARNING was a must! We told him that when he put his foot on the gas pedal, it would go very ... Read More:

We have had this trailer for about 6 weeks and have had no problems with it. We assembled it without complaint and the kids have loved every ride in it. This trailer has a soft sling seat. We debated paying more for a trailer with a hard seat but glad we did not. Our kids are 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 so they can keep themselves upright. They have not complained about the seat at all or fought about squishing into each other. When we looked up this trailer online to compare it to the InStep version we were considering, it was on the InStep website . . . Makes me think the Schwinn version is made by InStep also (?). We bought it when it was $124 (not sure why the price fluctuates so much) - a super great deal at $124! We have not yet used it as a stand-alone ... Read More:

I ordered this from Wal-MArt online and they lost my order, so after anxiously waiting 2 weeks for it, I canceled my order with them and they refunded me the money. I was paying $97 for the same thing from them. Got it here for $64, plus a helmet, plus some gloves. My 20 month loves it. He is 22 lbs and very petite. The straps are little big, so I have plenty of room for his growth spurt! The helmet is super cheap quality...but who cares, you still cant beat the price for everything. Just get a better helmet:) It also comes with the bar to place it on the bike, as I was confused because the site said that other customers had bought the bar to attach the seat to. But its all there, together! I love having my son in front of me, I can talk to him, and hear ... Read More:
