This company really surprised me: When, at first, I had a complaint about my order, they immediately responded and sent a replacement order without a return request for my previous order. Instead they asked that I donate the previous order to charity. I was pleased with the promptness of their response to my complaint, their immediate action to rectify the situation and their social responsibility in their request to donate the unwanted item to charity. They are an exemplary company in my book.

Purchased this toy for an older child who has lots of creative fun with it. You are able to make 3 dementional shapes with this, which makes for alot of fun. I would not recommend this toy for younger children because the pieces are small and easy to put in their mouth. Lots of fun for older kids that like to create things.

International Playthings Earlyears Soft Busy Blocks

My 8 month old loves these blocks. He can easily grab them and has learned that they each make a different type of noise. He shakes the one that has a rattle inside and loves to squish the one that makes a crinkly noise. These are a great educational toy for a baby. My son started to play with them around 6 months old and is just as excited at 8 months when he sees the blocks. I would definitely suggest this toy.

I might have rated these blocks lower, but I got them for a fantastic deal before Christmas last year. As such, they have paid for themselves countless times over. The blocks are a good size, no choking risk, and the wagon is fantastic to store them in. My 10 month old has been playing with these since about 6 months (mostly banging them together). That being said, they do show dents/wear rather quickly. When he is older and building with them more, we will get a higher quality set.

Rokenbok R/C Dozer with Recycling Center

The Dozer is one of the less useful construction vehicle within the Rokenbok world, and my main reason for limiting my rating of the vehicle. The bonus recycling center adds to the value of the vehicle, and integrates well into a Rokenbok setup as far as processing the red and blue balls. The sorting feature of the barrels (set comes with 20 barrels) is cute but of little use, as there are no additional Rokenbok accessories for processing barrels, aside from the warehouse that comes with the Forklift vehicle. And in that case, that set comes with all the barrels you need. The Rokenbok system is about moving and sorting balls, so the recycling center is a moderate value as an addition to your Rokenbok world.

Fisher Price Peek-a-Blocks Bucket o' Builders

My son got it for his first birthday and he really loves the blocks and likes to build with them. Each time he sees the box, he goes for it. My three year old son likes to play with the blocks, too.
The blocks are really nice: very colorful with interesting texture and cute animal design, easy to stack and very sturdy. Although it is a great toy, I think that the price is a little bit to high.

Mega Bloks Firetruck

My son receieved this as a gift for his first birthday (he's almost 14 mos. now) and it has been, by far, his favorite toy. He loves taking the blocks out and putting them back in the firetruck (very popular at this age right now). The ladder really isn't useful for him at this age to push it around (as it folds too easily) but he just hangs on to the sides and pushes. This is also his daddy's favorite toy to play with him as well. He loves to build towers etc. out of the blocks and then our son proceeds to knock them down. He's also starting to learn how to put them together himself recently. I'm ready to purchase a separate set of megablocks so they can build larger "contraptions" with them.
