I bought this for my 2 year old and 3 year old grandchildren to play with when they are visiting Gpa and Gma. They are both loving finding the letters in their names, or learning names of the pictures. They also love playing with them. It is always surprising how fast they learn the letters of the alphabet and how to pronounce picture names. I had blocks like these for our children when they were young too. It is refreshing to see how toys from the past are still learning tools and fun for the newest generation too. I highly recommend these.

its a good buy for the price. the transformer is made out of the body aprts of the car with magnetic attachments - so remember to tell your kid not to drop it.

Trebuchet Kit

this is a pre engineered kit for home builders. the peices are engineered fair for mass production yet require a little retooling, i.e sanding , drilling or cutting away excess material. The directions are okay but could be a little berrter written, the sling strings measurements are vague and take experimentation to figure out the propoer length. the ballast for weight is also nebulous, and takes experimentation. good for high school scienc though, and ren faire reenactors to have a little something to play with.

We bought this set for our son's first birthday. The colors are amazing, very cool! 100 pieces is plenty to build all kinds of towers and I have to admit, me and my husband love to build with these blocks. Our son has had these for six months now and not a day goes by when he pulls them out of the box and stacks them in towers. They ahve been through a lot and are showing some wear, the paint is chipping from a fe blocks but overall these blocks last well. These are one of the very few toys we'll be saving.
