Promotional Paint Kit

This kit is pretty generic, I would have liked it more if was made for model planes or cars. I ended up purchasing other colors that I needed anyway, it probably would be a good idea to purchase only the colors that you need unless you assemble lots of models and could use all of the colors in the kit. The paint its self is pretty good.

My granddaughter is turning 12 this week. My daughter says get more Zoobs, you bought some a long time ago. She says they are used a lot. There is also a 7 year old in the family. I remember playing with these last summer at their house. We were squabbling over pieces because there weren't enough! So I will get more!

LEGO® BIONICLE® Phantoka Toa Pohatu

POhatu Nuva is the Orange Phantoka Toa of Stone with 68 pieces. This set is cool. There are three features: fire the Spheres of Light from the Midak Skyblaster. Twist knob on back of arm to twirl the propellers (did I spell that right?). Connect Photok on his back. You can put any of the six Matoran (Photok, Tanma, Solek, Kirop, Radiak, Gavla) on his back but since Photok is Orange and Pohatu NUva is Orange, it looks better.

*Pros*
I Like how the SBlaster is mounted on his back.
The twirling propellers are cool.
Photok looks awsome on Pohatu Nuva's back.

*Cons*
Mask is just dumb. ( why I rate it 4 stars instead of 5.

Magna -Tiles 48 Piece Dx Set

We bought this for our 3 year old son's birthday a month ago. He has played with these tiles more than any of his other toys. This, for him, is on par with Curious George, keeps him occupied for long periods of time. His only frustration is trying to put the door in place. If the truth be told, dad has also built a few impressive structures of his own. Great toy!!

My boys are 3 and 6, and both will play with this toy for hours (alone and with their friends). We dump the pieces out on the living room floor and my husband and I have to make the boys put it away! The gears are really brightly colored but the motorized remote control piece is what really captivates the kids. I am looking forward to purchasing more gears to go with this set so we can make some really complex creations, and also have two remotes. The only complaint I have with this toy is the sticker sheet that comes with the set -- the stickers have not been stamped out of the sheet, so you literally have to cut them out with scissors, and then cut a hole in each one so you can attach gears without the sticker in the way. At 43 years old I too was wondering if this was just for kids, but it definitely is not. It opens your mind to move beyond the following the step by step instructions in most all the other books out there. One must remember the kit was called Mindstorms for a reason, so you can develop your own ingenious creations. This book helps you do just that. As for the story, it is written in a mature fashion and is integrated perfectly to hold your interest, adult or child. My mind drifts back to those old movies with the Mummy, and pyramids and tombs. Hootloads of fun!

Once again K'Nex has done it again. My son loves to build any and all complicated things from K'Nex. He can figure out things I can't and it keeps him busy and entertained for hours.
He loves showing them off to everyone and they are always impressed at what he creates.

LEGO® DUPLO® Thomas and Friends, Spencer (3353)

Spencer is another quality Duplo, just like the others in the series. My boys were thrilled to get Sir Topham Hatt. The only difficulty is that if you want to build the set exactly as pictured, there is no separate directions to clue you in. We search all over the box to find pictures that accounted for all the pieces. All in all, a nice set at a good price considering the tracks are included.

As a homeschooling parent of 6 children, two of which are considered disabled; I'm always looking for fun, family oriented, educational products. This set is one that we love. The quality is always exceptional as expected from the brand. Our pieces fit together well. My autistic son has no problem interacting socially and we enjoy being involved in his play with set, as well as my others. It's a wonderful moment to step into a room and see not one, or two, but all your children age 6-25 in the floor lovingly & laughlingy playing together with Duplo. Even sometimes Dad included and possibly the family pet. That alone makes for a truly awesome product. One that brings the family together is worth it's weight in gold!
