I've always wanted a Lego Ferrari model, and decided to get this one over the regular Ferrari Enzo. They both look similar, but I think the race version looks gutsier. I don't know if the regular Enzo has them, but this model does have air jacks, which makes it look even nicer when displaying. There really isn't very much play value, but it is fun to just flip the doors open, operate the air jacks, and open the engine bay and trunk at the front of the car. The level of details (suspension setup, engine air intakes, etc.) for a Lego model is quite high, which pleasantly surprised me. i bought this toy for my 18 month old son, i was looking for something inexpensive yet educational and fun to do. i was not disappointed, the blocks are the perfect size and weight for my son, he loves to stack them and tumble them over. they are very lightweight ( a plus since children tend to hit each other with blocks!!) yet very sturdy, i actually tested one out by standing on it and it held very well! the only thing that i could think of that could be a negative is that it takes some time to fold them together ( it took me 30-40 min) but it is definetly worth it, i would recommend it to all parents with toddlers.

LEGO BIONICLE® Takadox

Takadox is the blue Barraki with 62 pieces. The Barraki has two features: Fire the squid with the squid launcher! Takadox's face, leg armor, and back armor glow in the dark.
Special Stuff: Red Spikes at random places around the body (I like it!). The blades are cool (you can make a praying mantis with the blades. It looks cool).

LEGO® Mars Mission EXT Alien Mothership Assault

This is such a COOL toy! If you're buyig it for someone on the low end of the age scale, it will take them a little while to put it together but once it's done, well, wow! That missile shooter from the astronauts is a blast. We have a ton of fun blowing up the martians and grabbing the energy crystals. But, the aliens also have their missiles from the mother ship and well, it's just plain cool putting them in the cockpit and spinning them around on their swivel chairs. A lot of time and thought went into designing this toy and it's just nothing short of awesome! Highly, highly recommend!

I bought this for my 7 years old son. He loves Lego toys, so he enjoys this model very much and spend hours ensambling the pieces and playing with the cars and figures.
It's a good alternative if you want to keep your children a few hours away from video games, at least for a while.

Alphabet Blocks

I teacher Kindergarten; and recently purchased this for my Kindergarten classroom. I have small group literacy activities for my kiddos to do in the morning, after they are finished (some may finish early), they have a variety of literacy and alphabet based independent activities they may choose. These blocks are a "special" privilege for those students who work hard during small group. These blocks are a favorite activity for my students! They can practice the beginning sounds of words and practice letter recognition. I highly recommend these for children 4-6 as well as babies and toddlers! I like the Ice Cream block, which has "sprinkles" to shake!

I usually try to find Lego kits that are not too specialized, because I want my children to be able to build things in addition to the ones in the instructions. This kit is very good in that respect. The models in it are very nice. My 5 year old built them with little help from me.
