We got this camera for my 4 year old for Christmas last year and have been extremely disappointed. The camera doesn't feel nearly as sturdy as Fisher Prices kids camera; despite it being a 3.0 MP model pictures come out very poor (blurry, pixelated); battery life is very short. The on/off button is touchy in that the camera position is in the middle and needs to be situated just right to work. More often than not you push right past the camera setting to the stupid games position. The games are worthless except to waste battery life. I don't even know what genius thought thought a camera needed games on it. Overall, extremely disappointed in this camera and we've been looking for another one. This camera is a piece of junk! Like the other reviewers stated, my sons camera flickers on and off in camera mode. I'm very disappointed in Polaroid for even putting their name on this product. We got this for him for his birthday and after 3 days it started with the problems. We've changed the batteries too many times to count and the quality of the pictures is just aweful! I bought it on clearance a few months ago at Target and have since lost the receipt and threw away the box on his bday. I only spent 20 on it so I wasn't too concerned about it at the time, I guess. I always read reviews and I really wish I would have because my son is very upset that his camera has broken after only a few days of use! Oh well, guess i'll be getting him another camera ... I usually do not write reviews, especially bad ones. But I had to make an exception with this camera.
My son really wanted a camera for Christmas, but we happened to go to a store before the holiday and once he saw it he had to have the Spider man one, since he just loves Spider man. He was really excited about it until we opened it and he tried to take pictures with it. The preview screen is super small - and it is not at all functional. My son was very disappointed and so was I. Honestly, if you do not want to disappoint your child, please do not waste your money on this camera.

Our daughter (just turned 3) loves to pretend to take pictures with this camera. I say pretend because she points it at something and pushes the button and the camera starts taking a picture.
Of the first 100 pictures, only two were recognizable, and I think that a parent was holding the camera for those. There's a half second delay when you push the button, and it takes a noticeable amount of time to record the image, so even stationary objects are blurred.
If we hadn't lost the receipt while waiting for her birthday, we would have returned it.
