We've had this game for 1 year. It is still fun, and is one of those games that you can play with younger kids, and they have equal chance of winning. It is great not to have to "dummy down" or play slow to give them a chance. Plus you can play for only 10-15 minutes if that is all you have time for.

After much debate about whether or not to purchase this I "accidentally" purchased it from Amazon when buying other Christmas gifts. I debated whether or not it would be as much fun as Munchkin, which it is placed next to in the local (mall) board/card game stores.

What it has in common with Munchkin is the encouragement of doing whatever it takes to win including, if you can get away with it, cheating. It also sports so sometimes vague descriptions which lead to some sometimes intense arguing over what the card(s) are capable of doing, and of course there are plenty of opportunities to screw over or help the other players. I selected this item after reading reviews of this and other toys. I purchased just the 150 pc set last month for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. At first I was overwhelmed because the 150 pc set is very limited on how you can set it up. I reccommend that you PURCHASE THE LARGER SET with more pieces. I will be reordering the bigger one to give more options for set up. So I am very happy. NOTE: I found you really need to plan out how you want to set it up in advance on paper. Otherwise, it's trial and error. ALSO, because of the limited options for the smaller set, it slips on the shiny floor and won't stand up... so either put pieces of carpet or grip rubber under each tower or just build it on carpet. It may look like a "sweet litte amish game" on the front, but don't be fooled! This game will bring out the competitivenss of even the most quiet and reserved people you know!

This game is tons of fun for people of all ages and backgrounds. My favourite amount of people to play with is 8 (4 decks, teams of two). You can play with as many decks and people as you want but it does get kind of crazy with more than 4 decks at the same time. If you do play with more than 4 decks make sure you out a marking on the other decks becasue tehy all have the same for symbols on the back (plow, bucket, carriage, etc.) My sister put her initials on the back of all of her cards and I put my initials on the back of my cards, that made it way easier to sort out ... Apples to Apples Kids

Hours of shear laughter. Everyone in our family loves this game. I brought it to a family reunion at Tahoe a few years back and now we all own our own set. I added the the Kids addition so the little ones could join in the fun. We are a big game playing family but even my husband who avoids board games enjoys this game.

Our whole family loves this game. We have played it so many times the cards are wearing out. ONe great thing is that if your child hasn't won in several rounds it is very easy to play poorly and let them win - without cheating. Age of happy players - 34, 34, 14, 5. Also a 3 year old who likes certain cards when they are drawn by the players - the PEEK cheetah particularly! Buy this game!!!
