Just like the 'old days' - Tip It is still here! Wow. So, trying to help my son (6) with Occupational Therapy skills, we have been playing this game. Each attempt his steadiness improves as he is very competitive! Too bad a piece is missing now! On to Jenga.

We enjoy playing the tile game Spinner. These tile trays make playing a lot easier and fun. If you have younger children these trays would be great. You aren't always knocking your tiles over. I already have purchased more trays.

I purchased this domino set as a gift and it is very nice. Dominos are fun to play in a group with different age groups. Not a let down at all.

Checkers Premium in Wood Box

I was looking for a decent checkers set, and this is the one I picked. For the price it's a nice set. The top is painted, and the paint job is a little smeary in places, but it's otherwise well made. The top slides open easily, and you can store the checkers inside. The checkers don't fit together when you stack them, so moving your king around can be a bit tricky, but it's not a deal killer. All in all, I'm glad I picked this set rather than the standard cardboard and plastic one.

Candy Land DVD Game

I agree with the people who say the pace is too slow and the controls are terrible. You can never skip ahead, even if you decide to play a different game within the dvd - you're forced to wait through the entire game cycle. And trust me, kids will often want to bail out on a game before it's finished, because they're just not much fun. The board game version is ten times better.

I agree with the people who say the pace is too slow and the controls are terrible. You can never skip ahead, even if you decide to play a different game within the dvd - you're forced to wait through the entire game cycle. And trust me, kids will often want to bail out on a game before it's finished, because they're just not much fun. The board game version is ten times better.

Gamewright the Curse of the Ruby Rhino, a Dastardly Dice Game

A great game, that younger friends like to play. A game takes about 10-20 minutes and they will usually play a game or two at a time. I would highly recommend this game for this age group (5-7 year olds).

This game is a ton of fun for groups of 5 to 10 people and is easy enough for everyone to learn quickly. My family played it with nickels, dimes and quarters and this made it more fun because there was real "money" at stake. We were all yelling out the horses numbers and it made for a loud and good time.

Warning: This game is cheaply made and can break very easily. If you plan to play it a lot I would reccomend an upgraded version. Also, Pachi Paradice Inc sent this game to me all cracked and broken. You can tell it was sent that way and not damaged in transit. BUYER BEWARE.
